السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[70] Surah Al-Ma'arij [The Ways of Ascent]

Ayat 29. And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts) .

Ayat 30. Except with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed,

Ayat 31. But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Ma'arij Ayat. 29 to 31. And those who guard their chastity, 30. Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (then) they are not to be blamed, Captives of war may be married as such: see 4:25: but their status is inferior to that of free wives until they are free. This institution of the captives of war is now obsolete. Such inferiority of status as there was, was in the status of captivity, not in the status of marriage as such, in which there are no degrees except by local customs, which Islam does not recognize.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language.''

[At-Tirmidhi, Hadith # 2002].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Ma'arij Ayat 29. And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts)" The most beneficial thing on the Day of Resurrection will be a courteous behavior which will outweigh all good actions. But that will be witnessed in the case of a believer as there is no question of weighing a non-believer's good actions. Allah Himself says in the Qur'an: "So their works are in vain, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall assign no weight for them.'' So will a morally depraved and nonsensical man stand unfavored with Allah, and this will be a sign of his frustration and disillusionment in the Hereafter.
