Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[67] Surah Al-Mulk [The Dominion]

Ayat 13. And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men).

Ayat 14. Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything).

Tafseer of Surah 67. Al Mulk (The Dominion) 13. And whether ye hide your word or publish it, He certainly has (full) knowledge of the secrets of (all) hearts. 14. Should He not know,- He that created? and He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them). He Who creates must necessarily know His own handiwork. But lest we should measure His knowledge by such imperfect knowledge as we possess. His knowledge is further characterized as understanding the finest mysteries and being well-acquainted with them (Latif and Khabir).

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When Allah desires good for a ruler, He appoints for him a sincere adviser who will remind him if he forgets and helps him if he remembers. When Allah wishes for him the contrary, He appoints for him a bad adviser who will not remind him if he forgets, nor will he help him if he remembers.''

[Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith # 2932].

Lesson : In the recruitment of good and scrupulous aides lies the Blessing of Allah to a ruler because such aides will prove helpful to him in making sound judgments, reaching right conclusions and guarding him against leaning towards evil ways. Yet, if all of these aides are self-seekers, flatterers and corrupt, they will undoubtedly influence his decision-making in a bad way. And one can believe that the end of the ruler will be far from being desirable because history also supports this view. As for the Hereafter, he will be hardly safe from the infernal torment.
