English Translation of Al-Quran

[67] Surah Al-Mulk [The Dominion]

Ayat 24. Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)."

Tafseer of Surah 67. Al Mulk (The Dominion) Ayat 24. Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." Mankind, from one set of parents, has been multiplied and scattered through the earth. Men have not only multiplied in numbers, but they have developed different languages and characteristics, inner and outer. But they will all be gathered together at the End of Things, when the mischief created by the wrong exercise of man's will, will be cancelled, and the Truth of Allah will reign universally.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Samurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Among the people of Hell are there those who will be immersed in fire to their ankles, some to their knees, some to their waists, and some to their throats".

[Muslim Book 040, Chapter 12, Hadith # 6815].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Mulk Ayat 24. Say: "It is He Who has created you from the earth, and to Him shall you be gathered (in the Hereafter)" This Hadith tells us that the inhabitants of Jannah will be classified into different categories and enjoy different kinds of luxuries according to their merits. A similar classification will also be made in the inhabitants of Hell and they will suffer torments according to their misdeeds.
