السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[56] Surah Al-Waqi’ah [The Event]

Ayat 52. "You verily will eat of the trees of Zaqqum.

Ayat 53. "Then you will fill your bellies therewith,

Ayat 54.”And drink boiling water on top of it,

Ayat 55. "So, you will drink (that) like thirsty camels!"

Ayat 56. That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense!

Tafseer of Surah Al-Waqi’ah Ayat 52 to 56. "Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum. This is the Cursed Tree mentioned in 17:60, where see Cf 37:62 and 44:43-46. 53. "Then will ye fill your insides therewith, 54. "And drink Boiling Water on top of it: 55. "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!" A terrible picture of Misery in contrast to the Companionship of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful, on Thrones of Dignity, for the Companions of the Right Hand, in verses 34-38 above. 56. Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital!.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah  [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Hell will be brought on that Day (the Day of Resurrection) with seventy bridles; and with every bridle will be seventy thousand angels, pulling it".

[Muslim Book 40, Chapter 12, Hadith # 6810].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Waqi’ah Ayat 56. That will be their entertainment on the Day of Recompense!". This Hadith deals with the hidden matters relating to the Unseen world. Muslims are ordained by Allah to believe in them. It is wrong to hold them as metaphorical. They are realities but we cannot imagine them.
