Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran

[67] Surah Al-Mulk [The Dominion]

Ayat 29. Say: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH)  "He is the Most Beneficent (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So you will come to know who it is that is in manifest error."

Tafseer of Surah 67. Al Mulk (The Dominion) Ayat 29. Say: "He is ((Allah)) Most Gracious: We have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: So, soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." Our Faith tells us that Allah will deliver us from all harm if we sincerely repent and lead righteous lives. You, Unbelievers, have no such hope. When the real adjustment of values is established, you will soon see whether we were in the wrong or you!"

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) delivered a Khutbah to us the like of which I had never heard from him before. In the course of the Khutbah, he said: "If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much". Thereupon those present covered their faces and began to sob.

[Al-Bukhari Book 08,Chapter 76, Hadith # 493]

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Mulk Ayat 29. "He is the Most Beneficent (Allah), in Him we believe, and in Him we put our trust. So, you will come to know who it is that is in manifest error." This Hadith furnishes positive proof of the fact that the Companions of the Prophet    (PBUH) used to weep out of fear of Allah when they heard sermons and preachings. It induces us to follow them.
