In
the year 2015, I realized that the verse 54:17 is a crucial verse in
the Quran's mathematical design. In this post, I will share some new
signs concerning this important verse but first, we need to review some
of the information we received in 2015.
The foundation of our study has been the first verse of chapter 55. (55:1 The Almighty)
From now on, instead of the term Gematrical Value, I will be using the term Numerical Value. The Numerical Value of 55:1 is 329.
Also, I will be using the term Chronological Quran which means chapters of the Quran arranged in the order of the revelation as listed by Rashad Khalifa.
Here is what I found during my study on Isa Ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary) in 2015:
There are 55 verses in the Quran that begin with the letter س
The 329th letter س from the end of the Quran is the one in 74:30(Over it 19)
In the Chronological Quran, the 329th س is the one in 54:17
Letter س is an initial in 5 of Quran's chapters. The last two chapters that are initialed with this letter are 36 and 42
36:42 is the 3779th verse in the Quran

We know that 1273 is the product of 19 and the 19th prime (19x67)
The 1273rd prime numbered verse is 55:19
The 1273rd 'God' in numbered verses is the one in 9:127
1273rd numbered verse containing the word God is 29:69 (2969 is 428th prime)
2969 is 845 in base 19 ; 845+428=1273
We also witnessed a an absolutely amazing sign concerning Rashad Khalifa
In chapter 72 the words that are derived from the root word 'Rashada' are in verses 2,10,14 and 21
722101421= 29 x 24900049 (There are 29 initialed chapters in the Quran and 19x29 is 551)
24900049 is the 1560096th prime
1560096 = 32 x 9 x 5417 (Praise be to God!)

وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ

The first part of the verse is وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ
Numerical Value =(6+30+100+4)+(10+60+200+50+1)+(1+30+100+200+1+1+50)+(30+30+700+20+200) =140+321+383+980 = 1824 = 19 x 96
Rashad
Khalifa translated this part as 'We made the Quran easy to learn'. Then
in Appendix 3 which is dedicated to this verse goes into detail about
how God has made the memorization of the Quran easy. Pickthall's
translation says "We have made the Quran easy to remember" and Yusuf
Ali's says "We have made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember".
The dominant idea associated with this verse is that Quran is easy to
understand and that is exactly why this verse is being used widely by
the detractors of the Quran. They say if the Quran is easy to understand
then why are there countless disagreements about the meanings of many
verses among experts? But a closer look at chapter 54 makes us
realize that this verse has been misinterpreted by these translations.
The prevailing theme in the chapter is the punishment of the
disbelieving nations. Let's look at all four occurrences of this verse
accompanied by their previous verses:Numerical Value =(6+30+100+4)+(10+60+200+50+1)+(1+30+100+200+1+1+50)+(30+30+700+20+200) =140+321+383+980 = 1824 = 19 x 96
(54:16 How terrible was My retribution after the warnings! 54:17 وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ)
(54:21 How terrible was My retribution after the warnings! 54:22 وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ)
(54:31 We sent them one blow, whereupon they became like harvested hay. 54:32 وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ)
(54:39 Suffer My retribution; you have been warned. 54:40 وَلَقَد يَسَّرنَا القُرءانَ لِلذِّكرِ فَهَل مِن مُدَّكِرٍ)
In
his book 'Towards Understanding the Qur'an', as a commentary to 54: 17,
Maududi - a Sunni and a militant extremist - explains the meaning of
the verse most clearly: "Some people have misconstrued the words
yassarnal- Quran to mean that the Quran is an easy Book ... whereas the
context in which these words occur, indicates that they are meant to
make the people realize this: One means of the admonition are the
dreadful torments that descended upon the rebellious nations, and the
other means is this Quran, which guides you to the right path by
argument and instruction. Obviously, this means of admonition is by far
the easier one."
This understanding is closely reflected in some other translations:
John Medows Rodwell: Easy for warning have we made the Koran - but, is there anyone who receives the warning?
Farook Malik: We have indeed made the Qur’an very easy to understand the admonition: but is there any who would take admonition?
Ali Quli Qara'i: Certainly We have made the Quran simple for the sake of admonishment. So is there anyone who will be admonished?
Wahiduddin Khan: We have made it easy to learn lessons from the Quran. Is there anyone who would receive admonition?
This understanding is closely reflected in some other translations:

Mathematical signs built into the Quran in connection with 54:17
39:27 وَلَقَد ضَرَبنا لِلنّاسِ فى هٰذَا القُرءانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَذَكَّرونَ
And indeed, We have set forth for people in this Quran of every example so that they may take heed.
The meaning of the word Zekr in 54:17 can also be understood from the above verse. It does not mean learning, understanding or memorizing. It means taking admonition and reflecting on the warning. 54:17 is not saying that Quran is easy to understand. In fact, God describes the Quran as "a weighty saying"(73:5).
The central letter in the word Zekr is the letter K. This letter is the first initial in chapter 19.
In the Quran, in the range starting with 39:27 and ending with 54:17, the frequency of the letter K is 1143 = 9 x 127
The total frequency of all the letters of the word ذکر (Zekr) in this range is 600+1143+1426 = 3169
3169 = 449th prime number ; 449 = 87th prime number (87=3x29) ; 449th composite number = 551
