English Translation of Al-Quran

[64] Surah At-Taghabun [Mutual Loss and Gain]

Ayat 8. Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH), and in the Light (this Qur’an) which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. 

Tafseer of Surah Al Taghabun Ayat 8. Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light which We have sent down. And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do. The Light which We have sent down: i.e., the light of Revelation; the light of conscience, the light of reason, and every kind of true light by which we may know Allah and His Will. If we play false with any such lights, it is fully known to Allah.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Nawwas bin Suman (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The Qur'an and its people who applied it, will be brought on the Day of Resurrection preceded with Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Al-`Imran arguing on behalf of those who applied them.''

[Muslim Book 04, Chapter 133, Hadith # 1759].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah At-Taghabun Ayat 08. “In the Light (this Qur’an) which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do” This Hadith means that on the Day of Requital, the Qur'an, with Surat Al-Baqarah and Al-`Imran in the forefront, will intercede before Allah for those who used to recite and act upon them in the life of the world.
