Al-Quran القرأن

English Translation of Al-Quran
[69] Surah Al-Haqqah [The Sure Reality]
Ayat 41. It is not the word of a poet; little is that you believe!
Ayat 42. Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember!
Ayat 43. This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
Ayat 44. And if he had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah),
Ayat 45. We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might),
Ayat 46. And then certainly should have cut off his life artery (Aorta),
Ayat 47. And none of you could withhold Us from (punishing) him.
Tafseer of Surah Al-Haqqah Ayat 41 to 47. A poet draws upon his imagination, and the subjective factor is so strong that though we may learn much from him, we cannot believe as facts the wonderful tales he has to tell. And the poet who is not a Seer is merely a vulgar votary of exaggerations and falsehoods. 42. A soothsayer merely pretends to foretell future events of no profound spiritual consequence. Most of his prophecies are frauds, and none of them is meant to teach lessons of real domination. Such admonition is the work of an honored prophet. 43. (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 44. And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 45. We should certainly seize him with his right hand, The right hand is the hand of power and action. Anyone who is seized by his right hand is prevented from acting as he wishes or carrying out his purpose. The argument is that if an imposter were to arise, he would soon be found out. He could not carry out his fraud indefinitely. But the prophets of Allah, however much they are persecuted, gain more and more power every day, as did the Prophet, whose truth, earnestness, sincerity, and love for all, were recognized as his life unfolded itself. 46. And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart: This would effectually stop the functioning of his life. 47. Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). The protection which the prophets of Allah enjoy in circumstances of danger and difficulty would not be available for imposters.
Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "A man will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and will be cast into Hell, and his intestines will pour forth and he will go round them as a donkey goes round a millstone. The inmates of Hell will gather round him and say: `What has happened to you, O so-and-so? Were you not enjoining us to do good and forbidding us to do evil?' He will reply: `I was enjoining you to do good, but was not doing it myself; and I was forbidding you to do evil, but was doing it myself".
[Al-Bukhari Book 04, Chapter 54, Hadith # 489].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Haqqah Ayat 43. This is the Revelation sent down from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?" This Hadith serves a stern warning for such `Ulama', preachers so called scholars and reformers of the Ummah whose own conduct is contrary to the sermons they give from the pulpit.
