السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

English Translation of Al-Quran

[71] Surah Nuh [Noah]

Ayat 19. And Allah has made for you the earth wide spread (an expanse). Ayat 20. That you may go about therein broad roads.

Tafseer of Surah Nuh Ayat 19 and 20. “And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out), Ayat 20. "That ye may go about therein, on spacious roads. "Fijaj implies valley roads or passes between mountains. Though there are mountain chains on the earth, Allah's artistry has provided even in such regions, valleys and channels by which men may go about. Mountain roads usually follow the valleys.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "The similitude of one who remembers his Rubb and one who does not remember Him, is like that of the living and the dead.''

[Muslim Book 04, Chapter 121, Hadith # 1706]

Lesson: Lack of remembrance of Allah is akin to death. When a person dies, he is unable to do anything. Similarly, a person who does not remember Allah goes so far from Him that he cannot do anything which can benefit him.
