English Translation of Al-Quran

[63] Surah Al-Munafiqun [The Hypocrites]

Ayat 5. And when it is said to them: "Come, so that the Messenger of Allah may ask forgiveness from Allah for you", they turn aside their heads, and you would see them turning away their faces in pride.

Tafseer of Surah Al-Munafiqun Ayat 5. And when it is said to them, "Come, the Messenger of Allah will pray for your forgiveness", they turn aside their heads, and thou wouldst see them turning away their faces in arrogance. Even hypocrisy like other sins can be forgiven by repentance and amendment, provided there is a will and earnest desire to turn from evil and seek the Grace of Allah. In this case there was none.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah, the Exalted, becomes angry, and His Anger is provoked when a person does what Allah has declared unlawful.''

[Al-Bukhari Book 07, Chapter 62, Hadith # 150].

Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah Al-Munafiqun Ayat 05. “They turn aside their heads, and you would see them turning away their faces in pride" This Hadith warns us against committing sins and all that Allah has forbidden in order to avoid exciting the anger of Allah.
