السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

English Translation of Al-Quran

[72] Surah Al-Jinn [The Spirits]

Ayat 3. 'And (The Jinns) exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children).

Ayat 4. 'And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblis (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter against Allah that which was wrong and not right.

Tafseer of Surah 72. Al Jinn (The Spirits) 3. The jinns elaborates the Quran and describe as they understood “Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son. They abjure paganism and also the doctrine of a son begotten by Allah, which would also imply a wife of whom he was begotten. Cf. 6:101. 4. There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah.

Hadith الحدیث

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Ibn Masud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, “Jannah is nearer to anyone of you than your shoe-lace, and so is the (Hell) Fire".

[Al-Bukhari 6488].

Lesson: They will be the dwellers of the Fire, to dwell therein forever. And worst indeed is that destination” Going to Jannah or Hell is the result of one's own actions, both are close to everyone. One will be admitted into Jannah if he does good deeds, and will be consigned to Hell if he does evil. After death, one's entitlement for Jannah or Hell will be decided.
