English Translation of Al-Quran
[17].Surah Al-Isra' [The Journey By Night] also known as Surah Bani Israel [The Children of Israel]
Ayat 21. See how We prefer one above another (in this world) and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preference.
Ayat 22. Set not up with Allah any other ilah (god), (O man)! (This verse is addressed to Prophet Muhammad
[SAWW](PBUH), but its implication is general to all mankind), or you will sit down reproved, forsaken (in the Hell-fire).
Tafseer of Surah Al Isra' (Bani Israel) Ayat 21 & 22. See how We have bestowed more on some than on others; but verily the Hereafter is more in rank and gradation and more in excellence. Nor should man suppose that all gifts are of equal value. The spiritual ones rank far higher in dignity and real worth than the transitory ones. Therefore it is altogether wrong to compare the worldly prosperity of a wicked man with the apparent want of it to a man of spiritual worth. There is no comparison between them when measured by right standards. 22. Take not with Allah another object of worship; or thou (O man!) wilt sit in disgrace and destitution. The seeming inequality of gifts to men might make short-sighted men impugn the impartiality of Allah. But the fault lies with such men's own want of knowledge and want of Faith. There is no excuse for them to seek other objects of worship than Allah. For there is none worthy of worship except Allah. If foolish men turn to false objects of worship, they will not only be disappointed, but they will lose the respect of their own fellow-men, and spiritually they will be reduced to destitution. All their talents and their words will be of no avail.

English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "A group of people (both men and women) whose hearts will be like the hearts of birds, will enter Jannah".
[Muslim Book 40, Chapter 11, Hadith # 6808].
It has been interpreted that such people are those who put their trust in Allah; another interpretation is that these people are tender-hearted.
Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Isra Ayat 21 "See how We prefer one above another (in this world) and verily, the Hereafter will be greater in degrees and greater in preference" Excellence of trust in Allah and kindness of heart are most valuable qualities because both of them are means to enter Jannah. One should not worry much about one's food and means of subsistence. In fact, people should have the heart like birds who do not collect to keep in reserve anything and go out every morning in search of food and return to their nests fully satiated. This advice is repeated in another Hadith to the effect that when birds leave their nests in the morning they are hungry but when they come back, their stomachs are full and they do not need any more food.
