English Translation of Al-Quran
[55] Surah Ar-Rahman [The Most Gracious]
Ayat 34. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny?
Ayat 35. There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves
Tafseer of Surah Ar-Rahman Ayat 34 to 35. Then which of the favors of your Lord will ye deny? Note how gradually we have been led up in the Argument. 'The Signs of Allah are all about you, in revelation, in your intelligence, and in nature around you. Your creation; the mystic light and heat typified by the sun in all directions; the cycle of waters in the physical earth and of Knowledge in the world of Intelligence; the help and cherishing care of Allah Himself-all these things should teach you the Truth and warn you about the Future, which is more particularly referred to in the remainder of the Surah. 35. On you will be sent (O ye evil one’s twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defense will ye have: The Dual is with reference to the two worlds explained earlier. We now come to the terrors of the Judgment on the evil ones.
Hadith الحدیث
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge.''
[Muslim Book 35,Chapter 11, Hadith # 6518]
Lesson: This Hadith relates to the eminence of knowledge has been reproduced here. In this Hadith, knowledge means the knowledge of the religion, that is to say the correct knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith which is acquired without any prejudice of any juristic school. Otherwise, juristic prejudice can turn knowledge into great obstruction. May Allah bestow His Mercy on us.
