[17].Surah Al-Isra' [The Journey By Night] also known as Surah Bani Israel [The Children of Israel]
Ayat 82. And We send down from the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.
Tafseer of Surah Al Isra' (Bani Israel) Ayat 82. We send down (stage by stage) in the Qur´an that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe: to the unjust it causes nothing but loss after loss. In Allah's revelation there is healing for our broken spirits, hope for our spiritual future, and joy in the forgiveness of our sins. All who work in faith will share in these privileges. It is only the rebels against Allah's Law who will suffer loss. The more they will oppose Truth, the deeper down will they go into the mire-the state of sin and Wrath, which is worse than destruction.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Abu Musa Al-Ashari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah 
[SAWW](PBUH) said, "Read the Qur'an regularly. By the One in Whose Hand Muhammad's [SAWW](PBUH) soul is, it escapes from memory faster than a camel does from its tying ropes.''
[Al-Bukhari Book # 6 Chapter # 61 Hadith # 552].
Lesson: To safeguard the Qur'an means to recite it regularly, because if one fails to do so, he tends to forget it quickly. In the absence of regular recitation, one is bound to forget it more quickly than a camel breaks loose bound with. The breaking loose by the camel to liberate itself is a simile for the quick process of forgetting.
