English Translation of Al-Quran
[20].Surah Taha [Tâ-Hâ]
Ayat 102. The Day when the Trumpet will be blown (the second blowing): that Day, We shall gather the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) Zurqa: (blue or blind eyed with black faces).
Ayat 103. In whispers will they speak to each other (saying): "You stayed not longer than ten (days)."
Ayat 104. We know very well what they will say, when the best among them in knowledge and wisdom will say: "You stayed no longer than a day!"
Tafseer Surah Taha Ayat 102 to 104 The Day when the Trumpet will be sounded: that Day, We shall gather the sinful, blear-eyed (with terror). Zurqa = having eyes different from normal color, which in the East is black and white: having blue eyes, or eyes afflicted with dimness or blindness, or squint; hence metaphorically, blear-eyed (with terror). In whispers will they consult each other: "Yet tarried not longer than ten (Days); Faced with eternity, they will realise that their life on this earth, or the interval between their sin and their punishment, had a duration which practically amounted to nothing. They express this by the phrase "ten days", but their wiser heads think that even this is an over-estimate. It was but a brief day! We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!" Note that it is the shrewdest and most versed in Life who will say this, because they will be the first to see the true situation.

Hazrat Salman bin `Amir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah
[SAWW](PBUH) saying, "When one of you breaks his Saum (fasting), let him break it on dates; if he does not have any, break his fast with water for it is pure.''
