English Translation of Al-Quran

[23].Surah Al-Muminun [The Believers]

Ayat 108. He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak not to Me!"

Ayat 109. Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"

Ayat 110. But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them!

Ayat 111. Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful.

Tafseer Surah Al-Mu'minun Ayat 108 to 111. He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! After their flouting of Allah's Signs and their mockery of godly men on earth, they have forfeited their right to plead for mercy before Allah's Throne. "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray ‘our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!"  "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them!  Literally, 'they make you forget My Message'. The ungodly were so occupied in the backbiting and ridicule of the godly that the godly themselves became the unconscious cause of the ungodly forgetting the warnings declared by Allah against those who do not treat His Signs seriously. Thus evil often brings about its own ruin through the instrumentality of those whom it would make its victims.  "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..."

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah cid:20A6A22894B9400E996131C047583052@gmail[SAWW] (PBUH) said, "When one of you supplicates, let him be decisive and he should not say: `O Allah, bestow upon me such and such if You wish', because no one has the power to compel Him.''

[Al-Bukhari Book 08, Chapter 75, Hadith # 350].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Muminun Ayat 111."Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful" One should pray to Allah with full confidence that He will answer his prayers. One should also persist in praying and never give in to despair.
