Hello all.

I cannot express to you all, my happiness about how the QQC went about handling the quizzes at Aatmatrisha - 2010. Given the hype and hoopla created prior to the fest, it was a going to be a tough job to walk our talk. But over the past two days, we've walked our talk, and have done much more.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of the QQC for their continued support towards helping QQC grow. In a very short time, the QQC has grown into a force to reckon with. And, we all must take fair credit for that.

At this stage, I must single out Abhilash for the way he managed all of us around. Managing five hungry, maniacal, short-tempered people is no mean task, and it was there to see how well he went about his job.

What we have done, is a great start. And hopefully, a great trend-setter to what QQC must try and achieve in the next few years. What we have done, is given quality quizzers all over Bangalore a trailer to our ambitious D-Day Quiz Fest. That will be our next goal from here on in.

I generally tend to measure the success of a quiz by its "Oh!" quotient. The number of times a contestant doesnt answer and goes "Oh!" when he hears the answer. We certainly did have a very high percentage of those this year.

We have learn quite a few lessons, many the hard way. But, thats the way forward. Each step must be better than the previous one. And we all must take it upon ourselves to do just that.

And Ive saved the best part for the last. The prize money.

*drum roll*

1st Place : Rs. 1500/-
2nd Place : Rs. 1000/-

A big big jump from what was proposed (lets thank Abhilash for pushing that through) to what was eventually finalized.

This is an incentive for us to make our Quiz Fest even bigger. Lets quote Obama and say... "Yes, we can!" (Cliche, but effective).

Cheers,
Anand Madanapalle

Hey All,

I am extremely happy to know the quizzes went really!! For the first time in three years i was organising and doing some or the other thing. But this year i was on the other side and it was really nice! Super effort from Abhilash and team. I am extremely sorry Abhilash I could not meet you before the quiz. I was really busy with my projects and internships.

I hope from now on we progress and make the D-day event quiz possible.

I had a very nice experience for  past three years and doing a lot of good quizzes. I have learnt a lot during this period. I will try and keep my quiz factor in me alive.

Once again thanks for all the students who made this a grand success. Congratulations!!!!

Regards,
Pradeep Nayak
