How To Install Google Chrome Extensions On Microsoft Edge

Microsoft's new Edge browser built on Chromium is now available. But, by default, you can only install a small number of Microsoft-approved extensions. Here's how to install extensions from the Chrome Web Store in the new Edge.
To install Chrome extensions, all you need to do is flip a switch and browse to the online store. But you should be aware of a couple of warnings from Microsoft: If an extension relies on Google Account functionality to sign in or sync, the extension may not work in Edge. Also, if the extension relies on companion software on the PC, the extension may not work even if you installed the software.
Remember that any extensions you install from the Chrome Web Store weren't tested for the Edge browser. You may experience bugs or other breakages. It may be wise to install one extension at a time and verify you aren't experiencing any problems before moving to the next extension.
To see what you have installed, head to Settings > Extensions. You will see a list of extensions installed from Microsoft Store, and Google Chrome will show up under the From other sources section.
[Note] The installed extension folder name might be is not the extension name, it is the extension ID property (Click the "Details" link in the installed Extensions (edge://extensions/)).
working on a project where i need to force install certain extensions in Edge. They Keys are there and I have tried configuring using profile creator, JAMF JSON and BIll's JSON. No luck. Edge sees that its managed and allowed extensions install no problem. Blocked extensions are blocked, but those that should be force installed are not working. reaching out asking am I missing a recent change and if anyone has these working?
Did you ever make anything of this? I recently had a need to update my list of extensions I force-insall and found that they install in a very hit or miss fashion. Even on my personal test computers they are sometimes there, sometimes not, and randomly disappear at times.
