Hi,

RDK looks very interesting. But, is it possible to use Java with RDK and would you mind to give an example?

Regards

Hi Azizia,

It is possible to use the RDK with Java.  The easiest way to do this would be to write a java program to connect to the RDK using a bluetooth serial port.  Once the RDK is connected, you can communicate using the serial port just like any other serial device.  See the RDK User Manual for command details.

I am thinking to adapt SAR for detecting objects. However, one of the requirements of the system is  that it can see through walls or behind certain objects.
Can RDK help?

The ability to see through walls or other objects has not been tested with the RDK.  Your success would depend on the material you are trying to see through. For example, I do not think you would have much success seeing through a thick concrete wall.
