A Speedometer Online Tool is a web-based application that can measure a vehicle's speed remotely. It uses GPS technology to calculate the speed of the vehicle based on its location and the time it takes to move between two points. These tools can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or computer, making it easy for drivers to monitor their speed at anytime, anywhere.

SpeedoMeter.Live use GPS technology to track the location of the vehicle and calculate its speed. When a driver begins using the tool, it will request permission to access their location data. Once access is granted, the tool will use this information to calculate the vehicle's speed based on its movement between two points. The tool then displays the speed in real time, providing drivers with accurate information about their speed.

With a Strava subscription, you'll see your live speed on the recording screen and as a free athlete, you will see your average speed. At this time, there is no way to customize which speed is displayed on the recording screen even if you have a subscription. If you pause your activity when you have a subscription, however, you'll be able to see your average speed.

I believe this is unacceptable. It's like having users of alarm clock to pay for the clock feature. I understand that there should be some perks of paid subscription, but switching off actual speed in a ride tracking app - who does that?

Ugh. Google brought me here. I thought the problem was settings on my new phone but it turns out the change to average speed was because my free trial of premium lapsed. I understand the freemium business model and the need for people to get paid. By all means make all kinds of cool special features and offer them at a price. I didn't find them that special so I didn't pay to keep Premium. The ability to display actual speed on a GPS-based app is not a special feature. There are heaps of free apps that do it. Any of which can be run with Strava going in the background, or just switch to another fitness app.

21 days of free "Subscription Preview remaining. Somewhere I read that with the subscription the current/live speed is displayed. Hopefully, it will go back to Avg. speed when our free Subscription Preview expires. I've been using the Adidas Running app, but it's not as good as Strava. It's interesting that if we were to subscribe to Strave, then we would actually receive worse service ie., current speed instead of average speed. What a business plan!!!!

Hello, you shouldn't have to adjust anything in order for your live speed to display during an activity recording. Is your app up to date (a quick delete and reinstall will ensure you're on the most recent version)? If you still don't see your live speed after reinstalling the app, can you please submit a support ticket and send us a screenshot of what you're seeing while you're recording a run?

Thanks for sharing your comments, there is an idea that outlines that subscribers should have the ability to toggle between displaying average or live speed/pace during an activity recording. Feel free to vote and comment on it: -live-run-pace-data/idi-p/12488

Strava is pissing me off. THey insist i use their subscription with apparently no way to opt out of it. Now i have to download and use other apps just to see my average speed. It's selfish of them to mess with people's workouts to promote their service. I am recovering from multiple injuries and just trying to get my health back.

Hi @William1 , thanks for posting about this. I'm assuming that your account may have received a free Subscription preview, since the live speed on the App is actually a Subscription feature. At the moment it's not possible to toggle between displaying the live/average speed during an activity.

What you are seeing is a completely free (no strings attached ) preview of our subscription features. Your payment information hasn't been collected and there is no risk of being charged unless you decide to subscribe. As a token of our appreciation, we occasionally offer a complimentary 30-day subscription with no payment information required.

thanks for this answer. This is however absolutely unacceptable. I personally prefer the display of average speed; and due to the free trial month I am now forced to use the live speed. I have been checking settings of the app to see where I can switch and it took an actual google search to discover it is impossible to toggle between speed modes.
to recap: I am using a free service. The developers however force me to use the premium service, which actually offers less abilities that tailor to my preference, that give me less reason to use it. I am however in no possibility to revert back to my free service or change to the original setting that I used before and that I prefer.
just asking: do I get this straight?

If the Speed Limits feature is available in your location, the speedometer in the app will let you know if you're driving too fast. The speed indicator will change colors if you go over the speed limit.

High-Speed Shooting in Live View Mode:
It seems like there might be a setting that is causing the high burst setting to be grayed out in Live View mode. Here are a few things you can try:
Make sure you are in a shooting mode that supports high-speed continuous shooting. Some shooting modes, such as Aperture Priority or Manual mode, may limit the burst shooting capabilities. Try switching to a mode like Program (P) or Sports mode.
Check the camera's drive mode settings. Press the Drive mode button (located near the top-right side of the camera) and rotate the main dial to select the high-speed continuous shooting mode. Make sure it is not set to single shot or any other mode that disables burst shooting.
Confirm that the autofocus (AF) area selection mode is set correctly for Live View shooting. Press the AF point selection button (located near the top-right side of the camera, below the Drive mode button) and use the multi-controller or the touchscreen to select a suitable AF area mode for your shooting needs. For burst shooting, you might want to select the Zone AF or Automatic AF point selection mode.
Reset the camera settings to their factory defaults. This can help eliminate any unintended settings that might be causing the issue. Look for the "Clear all camera settings" option in the menu or refer to your camera's manual for instructions on performing a factory reset.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's recommended to consult the camera's manual or reach out to Canon customer support for further assistance.

Blurry View via the Viewfinder:
If your viewfinder images are consistently blurry while using back button focusing, here are a few suggestions to address the issue:
Ensure that the viewfinder diopter is properly adjusted. The viewfinder diopter adjustment dial, usually located near the viewfinder, allows you to focus the viewfinder to match your eyesight. Adjust it until the viewfinder information appears sharp and clear to you.
Clean the viewfinder and the eyepiece. Sometimes, smudges or dirt on the viewfinder or eyepiece can affect the clarity of the view. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean them gently.
Check your lens for any issues. Even though the lens performs fine in Live View mode, it's worth verifying if there are any problems specific to the viewfinder focusing. Ensure the lens is properly mounted, clean the lens contacts, and consider trying a different lens to see if the issue persists.
