New issue 1331 by bwpanda1986: Provide actions for bookmarks
http://code.google.com/p/quodlibet/issues/detail?id=1331

A nice feature would be the ability to add actions for bookmarks. Actions
could include (off the top of my head):
- End song
- Increase/decrease volume
- Display song information

I see the management of this being in the Bookmarks tab of the song
Information window. An extra column would display a drop-down list for each
bookmark with the available actions, with <None> selected by default.

Use-cases for this new feature might be:

A song has an unwanted 'hidden' part at the end (e.g. there is a 30-sec gap
of silence at the end of a song before an extra 'hidden' song or recording
is heard), but it is all part of the same track. A bookmark could be added
at the end of the main song that, when hit, automatically ends the song
(skipping to the next song in the playlist/queue).

A song has a particularly good part that deserves increased volume. A
bookmark could be added so that the volume is automatically increased when
that part is played, and possibly decreased again afterwards.

There are obviously other actions/use-cases that would be possible that I
haven't thought of. I'm just interested in being able to skip 'hidden'
songs at the end of tracks.

This seems really specific..

The only way I could see this happen without adding much complexity, if it
gets checked every second and the commands are text based as bookmark name
with the same naming as command line commands:

* Create bookmark named "#next" at 4:42 (or "#volume +10")
* QL jumps to the next song somewhere between 4:41 and 4.43

would that be ok? (not that it will happen if yes..)

That sounds like a good compromise to me :)

A general #skip and #endskip as well as #next would be sufficient for
leaving out arbitrary "junk" sections, whether leading, trailing or in the
middle.
