The same way I can switch from Email/Message to Note, I would like the ability to go from a messenger message to sending the customer an email that doesn't go through the messenger and also isn't a separate conversation.
At the moment, Intercom does not support the ability to switch channels, once a conversation is in-app or email they must remain the same. But I totally understand where you're coming from here and I would love to pass this along as a feature request for the product team. Thanks for adding your use case here, this totally make sense!

To start, you may be able to copy and paste those messages from Messenger in to an email. To do that, you would just lightly press and hold on the message you wish to copy until you get some options that appear on your screen. You would then tap where it says "Copy" to copy it to your clipboard. You then would be able to go into Mail or any other app you wish to paste the message in to, then tap on the field where you input text, and tap the "Paste" option.
Blocking certain email addresses from receiving messages can be easily done from the Blocked Lists subtab found under the System tab. After clicking the Blocked Lists subtab, click the Email Addresses Link, shown below.
On the Blocked List page you can view a list of all of the email addresses which have been blocked by any user and the reason given for blocking the address. Adding or removing addresses from the list is a very simple process.
