Aquael Ultramax 2000 canister filter for aquarium is an Innovative, technologically advanced canister filters employing patented solutions. They are extraordinarily user-friendly and can be used in virtually any tank to purify water and maintain the required water parameters. They can be used in freshwater and marine aquariums. These are their main advantages:

Great performance - Ultramax filters are characterised by very fast water flow (max. From 1000 to 2000 L / h). This enables them to work efficiently even in very large tanks (up to 700 L). They are also spacious and contain a large number of filter cartridges housed in comfortable ergonomic baskets with a capacity of 1.9 L each (the number of baskets is between 3 and 5 depending on the model). This guarantees effective mechanical and biological filtration. They have carefully selected fillings for the needs of a typical aquarium.

The cover of every Ultramax filter has a built-in large foam pre-filter (capacity approx. 0.6 L). Its job is to trap thicker mechanical impurities before they get into the filter so that the device is protected from clogging. Frequent cleaning of the device is therefore not necessary. It is sufficient to regularly rinse the sponge of the pre-filter in tap water. This treatment only takes a few minutes. It is not necessary to disconnect the filter from the mains or remove it from the aquarium cabinet.

Noiseless operation

The carefully designed construction of the filter pump rotor and its chamber is based on more than 30 years of experience and features a ceramic rotor axis, ensuring noiseless operation. Thanks to this, the filter does not disturb and can be operated in any room (even in the bedroom).

Safety

The water inlets and water outlets in ULTRAMAX filters are equipped with robust double ball valves. This allows the hoses to be separated quickly and easily from the filter before cleaning and even small water leaks are prevented!

The Aquael Ultramax is a innovative external filter which is characterised by a large water flow rate of 1.000 and up to 2.000 l/h. In addition, the device has a prefilter which absorbs any thick grime before it reaches the filter directly. In this way, the filter's cleaning cycle is prolonged.

Due to a ceramic axle and the construction of the filter rotor a quiet operation is implemented. Furthermore, the ceramic axle makes it possible to use the filter for seawater aquariums.

The Ultramax 1000 is delivered with 3 filter baskets, Ultramax 1500 with 4 and Ultramax 2000 with 5 baskets. In addition, each version is delivered with a filter casing with cover, 1 x set of filter elements (Aquael Wool Max Pro Filter Floss, BioCeraMax, Ultramax/Maxikani Super Finish), 2 x 1,5 m connection hoses, 2 x connection pipes, 4 x suction cups, deflector, prefilter basket, connection pipe and elbow piece.

AQUAEL External Filter Ultramax 2000 is a professional external filter for aquaria up to 700 litres. The modern external filter convinces with its large filter volume and compact design. With a height of only 51 cm, it fits into any cabinet. Thanks to its high-quality workmanship, the AQUAEL Ultramax 2000 is extremely reliable and almost noiseless in operation. The energy-saving pump has a costly pump capacity of 2,000 l/h and a power consumption of only 24 watts. As we are accustomed to from AQUAEL, this aquarium filter also has a lot of useful details which are not only useful for setup but also for maintenance.

For example, with AQUAEL Ultramax you can clean the pre-filter without removing the pump head of the filter. To access the prefilter, simply open a flap on the pump head. This can be done quickly with a few handles. Neither the pump head itself nor the tubes need to be removed. There are also other useful details, such as rotatable hose adapters and an efficient self-priming mechanism. The three filter baskets can be filled individually with any filter material. Of course, the external filter comes already filled with filter material and ready for connection to you.
