On the 37th anniversary of the game's release, Google released a secret version of Breakout accessible by typing "atari breakout" in Google Images. The image thumbnails form the breakout bricks, turn different colors, and after a ball and paddle appear the game begins.[43]
In all but the smallest meetings, it can be difficult to have open discussions and a meaningful exchange of ideas. With breakout rooms, people gather in small groups for lively conversation and brainstorming sessions.
Only meeting organizers on the desktop versions of Teams (Windows, Mac, and VDI) can create and manage breakout rooms. Organizers or presenters must first join the meeting to create or manage breakout rooms.
Make your meetings more efficient by adjusting breakout room settings before they start. Meeting organizers can plan ahead by creating and naming breakout rooms, sorting attendees into rooms, setting timers, and more.
Assign participants to each breakout room if you didn't do so automatically or need to reassign someone to another room. To assign people, you must be a meeting organizer or presenter who's been appointed a breakout rooms manager, and you must first join the meeting.
Meetings with breakout room capabilities are limited to 300 participants. If the channel contains more than 300 members, pre-assignment will not be available. Meeting organizers can also assign participants to breakout rooms during the meeting.
When you set a time limit, a timer is visible in each breakout room so that participants are aware of when the session will end. When time is up, the rooms close and participants return to the main meeting.
If you organize a meeting, you can gain insight into its participants and their breakout room activity through attendance reports. Learn which breakout room each person has joined, when they entered it, and when they left.
By default, participants are automatically moved into breakout rooms when they're opened. When you turn off this option, participants receive a message asking them to join a breakout room. They select Join room (Join on a mobile device) before being moved.
I would also like to see the camera and mic icon for each of the people in the breakout room. And I would like to see the chat in each of the breakout rooms, and have that recorded in the log. We are required to supervise our students. It would be fine if the chat in the breakout room informed that the host can read.
As a platform that is now working with schools, there needs to be a way to supervise all the aspects of breakout rooms.
@Tikkacat Not sure if this is your issue but it is worth noting that even if your "main / parent" meeting was based in a Channel, the breakout recording does not go there. So if by "chat" you meant channel chat I'm not surprised you cannot find it.
If the recording initiator is still using the MS Stream recording policy (and has permissions to upload to MS Stream) then that is where it goes. But by default the entire MS Team does not get permission, like it would for a normal channel meeting. It's the recording initiator, members of the breakout space and the meeting organiser. But people in other breakout rooms would not get access.
If the recording initiator is using the new OneDriveforBusiness recording policy then it goes into the "initiators" OneDrive / Recordings folder. Not the MS Teams files area like it would for a normal channel meeting. Again permissions are granted to the breakout room and meeting organiser, but not the wider MS Team members.
So basically you could have 10 breakout sessions and 1 parent all being recorded, but the actual recordings stored in 11 different folder locations. (Assuming worst case of each breakout rooms recording being initiated by a different person).
The fact that you can even record breakout spaces in the first place is one up from other popular providers, but I can see scenarios where issues could arise. Perhaps compounded with OneDriveforBusiness + captioning where the indication is that if the file is moved it may break the captioning. So relocation of breakout recordings back into the MS Team may be an option but not without downsides.

Are you a new investor who wants to make money in the top stocks and wonder why IBD uses the word "breakout" or the phrase "stock breakout" in many stories? You might think "breakout" sounds like something that belongs in a prison movie.
The easiest way to see this on a chart is in a flat base. The flat base neither rises nor falls very much. This gives the stock a repetitive appearance until it finally breaks out. (In some cases, the stock will break downward, which is why the investor should never buy before the breakout.)
Ideally, the investor wants to see strong volume on the breakout. Volume should be at least 40% greater than its average volume. In many cases, the volume increase will be far greater than that. The strong volume points to institutional participation. A stock doesn't get far if fund managers are not behind the breakout.

Breakout rooms are a great option for meetings where you want to have close collaboration and small-group discussions. You can create as many as 50 separate breakout sessions at once. There are lots of ways for you as the host to place people into rooms and create a fun meeting experience for them.
Zoom breakout rooms are easy to set up during a meeting, but there may be times when you want to plan in advance and put more thought into how to split people up. Here are some ways you can create breakout room assignments before your meeting starts.
Breakout rooms are sessions that are split off from the main Zoom meeting, allowing users to meet in smaller groups. Pre-assigned breakout groups can be used for collaborative activities like group projects or peer review.
By default, breakout rooms can only be created within a meeting, so the option to pre-assign breakout rooms will need to be enabled first. Once enabled, users can pre-assign groups for breakout rooms that can be opened in future Zoom meetings.
With this USB breakout you will finally be able to incorporate a USB-C connector into your projects without needing to solder each tiny SMD pad. The SparkFun USB-C Breakout supplies up to three times the power as previous USB iterations and also solves the universally frustrating dilemma of plugging a USB cable in correctly because it's reversible!
Hosts and co-hosts can only broadcast one-way messages to all rooms. Hosts and co-hosts cannot send chat messages to the breakout rooms from the main session. While inside a room, participants cannot send chat messages to the host while inside a room, but can request assistance.
Local and cloud recording are available in the main session of a breakout room, and are the same as any Zoom meeting. Local recording is only available while in a breakout room. If recording is desired, it is recommend that the host assign a participant the permission to record locally.
Breakout rooms can be used to give participants time to work/talk in small groups. It gives you (as the host) and others (as co-hosts) access to move between breakout rooms to join in a conversation or answer questions.
The breakout scale divides IOs into six categories, based on whether they remain on one platform or travel across multiple platforms (including traditional media and policy debates), and whether they remain in one community or spread through many communities. At the lowest end of the spectrum, Category One operations only spread within one community on one platform, while Category Two operations either spread in one community across multiple platforms, or spread across multiple communities on one platform. Category Three operations spread across multiple social media platforms and reach multiple communities.
Starting on November 10, 2020, when using Zoom version 5.3.0 or later, there will be an option for hosts of large meetings to increase the number of breakout rooms from 50 to 100. To take advantage of the new breakout room features, users must be using Zoom version 5.3.0 or later.
Breakout rooms can be useful for facilitating group work or group discussion in a class. While using breakout rooms requires some setup beforehand, they are easy to use during a class session. This resource will walk you through enabling breakout rooms in your Zoom meetings, as well as how to start breakout rooms while teaching in Zoom.
During a breakout session, you can move between rooms as needed. First, in the Zoom menu at the bottom of the screen, click Breakout Rooms. Then in the Breakout Room dialog box, click Join for the room you want to join, as highlighted in the following image:
To end breakouts and close the breakout rooms, click Breakout Rooms in the Zoom menu at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the Breakout Rooms window. From here, in the bottom right corner of the window, click Close All Rooms. Participants will see a dialog box indicating that breakout rooms will close in 60 seconds. After the 60 seconds are up, all participants will be returned to the main room.
