Ive had a similar problem a few weeks ago (Pandora unpausing when I didn't ask it to), but it didn't happen as often as others commented above. However, I think it stopped on its own but with with a new problem in its place. When I have Pandora closed, a notification saying, "Unknown by Unknown" pops up on my notification screen and I cannot get rid of it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, and it still persists. How may I solve both of these problems should the both continue?

Following a thorough review by our engineering team, we've determined this behavior is not exclusive to the Pandora app and is instead dictated by the Android operating system as of Android 13, part of an effort by Google to allow users to resume playback more easily from their most-used media services.

(Please note you won't be able to attach images via email - you will need to open this Community link in a web browser in order to provide attachments)Additionally, can you send over a bit more info about your device?

It looks like you've already been in touch with a member of our support team via email. They've gone ahead and reported this on your behalf to our tech team. We appreciate your patience while this is being looked into.

I looked in both my phone and computer for the community tab, and it looks like I cannot find a place to attach an image to show a screenshot. Are you sure I could not email the screenshot and phone info? I feel more comfortable sending the phone info there, not in the public place.

I'd like to chime in to say I'm experiencing the same problem. Android phone, launch from car already disabled, persistent notification from Pandora saying Unknown song by unknown artist over a black background. If I open Pandora to play music, the notification displays the correct information, and then it goes away once I close Pandora. Two or three seconds later, the notification comes back, with the Unknown message.

I usually am using cellular data. I can try using just Wifi to see if it fixes itself. The only pattern I am seeing is when the app is closed, the notification pops up and I'm unable to remove it without using Pandora again.

The app isn't running as it is. It's part of the background running apps. Unless you have developer settings enabled you can't stop pandora from using background resources. It does so when Bluetooth or wifi is enabled. This is done in order to quickly communicate with known wifi and Bluetooth accessories. That notification is part of background services to allow you to quickly open the app and immediately connect to accessories. Removing the notification does nothing to background services. As of yet, I've noticed no change in battery, with or without the notification.

I've been having the same problem for weeks now and it is incredibly annoying. However, I have managed to find a temporary fix. Whenever you exit the Pandora app and the notification pops up, go into the app's settings and press the "force stop" button. It gets rid of the notification for me, but I have to do it every time I exit Pandora, hence it being only a temporary fix. At the very least it stops me from going crazy because of the constant notification. Hope this helps a little bit!

My screenshot looks exactly like Lost-In-Sedona's on the bottom. To cope until it gets fixed, I have the notification minimized. It's not big anymore and not a pop up on the top part of my screen where notification icons would be but it's still there in the notification screen. Has someone been able to recieve my android info from the email? As I had mentioned previously, they directed me back to here.

The StiX 3700 is a versatile, compact, powerful 4K standalone player powered by Android that renders your digital signage rich media on any screen. To get the most out of your digital signage, consider purchasing the complete solution, including the standalone player and software!

Navori Player seamlessly skips the content and alerts the user in charge whenever the hardware does not support a feature or media. Navori player software offers complete interoperability.

When I select the option to use External player a pop message appears saying "No Player, it doesn't appear you have a video capable app installed. This option requires you to install a 3rd party app for playing video content." Well I have VLC installed, and MX player. What am I missing here? When I sideload the Android Mobile version of this app then the option to choose VLC is available, but not in the Android TV client. Is this a bug? Same thing happens on Sony TV and two generations of Nvidia Shield.

The option "multi-threaded rendering " is not existed in PlayerSetting , i can not find it.

I change GraphicsApi to OpenGLCore/OpenGLES2/OpenGLES3, still no improvement for the video playback, laggy and choppy.

This worked for me. Disabling multithreaded rendering within Unity 2022.2.21. I created a function to disable the main Game Object with Terrain and other game objects, when you play a video, however it was still choppy on Android 13 S21 Ultra. Nothing was running except for the video player and a 50 MB video locally on the device.

I tried different Video formats, bit rate, h264, h265, and nothing was working. As soon as I disabled Multithreading in Project Settings for Android build, The choppiness went away. Videos play fine now.

Even with terrain and other objects enabled and multithreaded disabled, it is choppy. So I have the script disable everything when a video plays and now with multithreaded disabled, at least the video plays normal now.

I use Unity for mobile apps most of the time, with member login, access to podcast and videos, and it would be nice to have a better video streaming process. I know their are Assets that are super expensive like AVPro that may be better at video performance.

Having similar problems with video as well. Its a fairly low end device, but the videos are pretty low quality too, so thought it would work, but its very choppy - tried the multithreading thing, but no difference. Improved slightly using waitforFirstFrame and skipOnDrop, but it can only do it for a few frames then it gives up

I encountered an issue during development where, in the Android application packaged with Unity VideoPlayer, the video playback becomes extremely laggy when the phone is connected to Bluetooth. The video plays smoothly when not connected to Bluetooth headphones.May I ask what could be the reason for this?

I used to have an iPod Touch. It was great. It did everything I needed and I was happy to have a separate music player and mobile phone. But one day, Apple updated the software and after that Smart Playlists (ones that automatically update) stopped working on the device. The only way I could get the playlists to update was to sync with the computer and the iTunes database. It was largely due to this oversight/bug that when development on the Touch stalled (and my eyes needed a bigger screen) that I decided to jump over to Android rather than have an iPhone.

All of this may sound quite insignificant to many people, but I need music to work. I cannot work in peace and quiet, so having a music player that does what I want is important to me. That I can use my phone rather than PC also means that I get much better sound as I can use my Bluetooth speaker.

Although I got a brand new up-to-date LG phone with the Adobe Flash Player already installed and updated , whenever I go to a web page that requires an updated version of Adobe Flash Player it sends me to a link and when I click on it it tells me that my device does not support Adobe but then I go to look at my Adobe Flash Player in my apps it's updated and running properly

There is absolutely no alternative I'm afraid, if the web site is designed to use Flash Player. In this case it's the web site that's old fashioned, as it won't work on anyone's phone, and it won't work on a lot of computers. I'd advise you to find a different site, or complain to the site maker.

Flash for Android is discontinued. Pretty amazing you got an ancient version in a new phone at all - it was cancelled over 6 years ago. Don't expect to be able to use modern Flash content anyway, and Flash Player itself is going to be removed from even Mac and Windows within 2 years, according to Adobe. Seek alternative sites without Flash.

Wow,that tells me how truly braindead and out of date I am in these things. Is there a free version of an app or product you could recommend that compares to flash player? I'm using it in a broadcast situation and the web site suggested flah player but obviously that's not going to work. Anything you can think of in comparison, if you would be so kind as to give me a much needed shove out if the stone age here!

I advised all my application users to use Puffin since 3 years now as I have no time and budget to reprogram zillion lines of code to the ugly javascript (damn I hate this language;)) and no one complained about it.

While Flash Player hasn't been supported on mobile devices for over 4 years, saying "it won't work on a lot of computers" is rather misleading as it continues to be supported on desktop systems, and will continue to be supported until its EOL at the end of 2020.

I've not heard of wide-spread corporations disabling Flash by default. However, browser vendors have disabled it by default, forcing user's to enable it, usually on a per-site basis (e.g. Edge). We publish tech notes on how to enable Flash on the various browsers. These are linked to at Flash Player Help

There are millions of Flash installs daily. Google and Microsoft have been embedding Flash in Chrome and IE/Edge, respectively, for years. I suspect the Flash forums would be a lot busier than they are if it didn't "work on most computers"
