Video production and broadcasting software lets content creators produce live streams and then send a video feed out to viewers. Many providers like YouTube and Twitch include a player where viewers can watch the broadcast, while others don't. That's where the Webex Events RTMP Player comes in.
The Webex Events RTMP Player provides a Stream Key and RTMP URL for each live stream. These tell your broadcast software where to send the video feed. Once you've entered the Key and URL into the broadcasting software, the Webex Events RTMP player maintains a constant connection. When you start the live stream in your broadcasting software, attendees can watch it in a Webex Events Live Stream feature or Session.
Stream your content to your Webex Event from nearly any platform that supports RTMP. Local streaming software like Wirecast and vMix, online streaming services like Twitch and YouTube, or even meeting software like Webex are all possibilities!
We strongly recommend against using computer speakers with audio in Webex meetings. The sound from the speakers is picked up by your micrphone, and causes an audio loop, which can often result in a very loud sound that all participants can hear. Please check out our hardware recommendations on the Webex for Faculty and Staff main page!
Meetings are where ideas are exchanged, where collaboration happens, and where decisions are made. Recording and sharing internal meetings maximizes the value your organization gets from every minute employees spend in meetings.
Meetings are dynamic, collaborative events that often include multiple people talking while sharing screens, slides, and documents all from various locations. Meeting assistants designed to take notes and provide summaries quite simply miss an abundance of information that could prove to be valuable later.

My company is in the habit of adopting Windows-centric solutions. The latest is Webex for hosting and recording meetings. Webex records the meeting and makes the file available for download in the form of their proprietary ARF format. Predictably, their own player supports converting to MP4 only in the Windows version of the player, and not in the Mac version of the player. So the question I have for this community is:
The software will install, but (IMO) it doesn't create an application link in Finder or in Launch Pad. I personally don't have any WebEx recordings I can use to test, but you can launch the player manually. It's located in the user's library folder under:
Prior to 2017, NCASI utilized WebEx for its webinars. WebEx recordings are in a proprietary file format that requires downloading and installing a WebEx Player. (In 2017, NCASI switched to Zoom for hosting online meetings and webinars. Recordings of Zoom webinars are provided in the non-proprietary MP4 file format, which is handled in a variety of video players.)

The Club gave me a platform to show myself, to show the type of player I was. With the youth teams, there were so many people watching, and we were always competing for the Championship, so you had scouts from all over watching because each youth team was so good.
