Quine 3 now available in the iOS App Store - replacing Quine 2 - appearing under the name "Quine" with a modified icon.
Quine 3 is a complete rewrite of Quine 2 based on changes up to iOS 26 - adapting to the most recent changes to Apple's interface standards, and capitalizing on iOS changes introduced for performance and stability.
Much remains familiar but with big improvements under the cover, including a new way of handling "bookmarks" for folder access. If you used bookmarks in Quine 2, you will need to create SOME of those bookmarks in Quine 3, where bookmarks have deeper scope - providing access to entire file "trees". The Quine 2 bookmarking method remains intact, but a new bookmarking tool has been added, accessible from the toolbar menu of open wikis.
You will find that Quine 3 uses the same iCloud sandbox as was used by Quine 1 and Quine 2 - so you should not need to move your iCloud wikis from their current location.
You will find that Quine 3 creates a new "Quine" folder in "On My iPad"/"On My iPhone". It will sit alongside your Quine 2 folder. You can distinguish them by their icons. I recommend that you move your Quine 2 files and subfolders over to the Quine 3 folder - certainly before you delete Quine 2 - but backing up would be wise also. Quine 3 does not have read-write privileges to Quine 2's local file folder, so you may want to "bookmark" the Quine 2 local folder if you decide to keep using it.
Quine.
