Quine v2.3.3 was just released. Mostly maintenance, but some internal performance improvements as well:
1. Quine v2.3.3 now includes the most recent TiddlyWiki Empty.html v5.3.3. When you tap "Create Wiki" from the Quine file browser view, or tap the "+" button on the top tool bar you will get a new copy of Empty.html v2.3.3.
2. The code is built for iOS 17.4, taking advantage of increased security, higher performance, and a number of internal fixes that help ensure App consistency and reliability.
3. The way that PDF's are treated has improved, being more consistent with the treatment of other general purpose files Previously, when you tried to open a PDF in a new Quine instance from the Quine files browser, by sliding the file item to the right hand edge of the device screen, Quine would erroneously attempt to open the PDF as a wiki, and that didn't make any sense or work very well. Now activation of new Quine instances by sliding file items to the right hand edge of the screen is only active for .html and .tid files. Now, to view a PDF file from the Quine file browser just tap the file item.
4. A bug in the "Big Wiki Saver" could cause problems if a user tried saving big wikis with very large individual tiddlers, successively and before a prior saves had completed. I didn't receive any reports of the problem but it was showing up when I ran my test suite. Now you can tap a TiddlyWiki save button as often as you like, and if a prior save is still running it will just ignore the attempt until the prior save has completed safely.
Cheers - Chris.
