Vehicle Tracking provides a set of transportation design tools that include vehicle swept path prediction for steered vehicles, light rail vehicles, and aircraft, as well as parking layout design and roundabout design.
Vehicle Tracking is a suite of transportation-related programs that includes vehicle swept path prediction for steered vehicles, light rail vehicles, and aircraft, as well as parking layout design and roundabout design.
Civil engineers working on roads, highways, airports, rail, and site design can use Vehicle Tracking to conduct swept path analysis and design, create and edit parking areas, and improve roundabout design.
Your Vehicle Tracking subscription gives you access to install and use the three previous versions of Vehicle Tracking. Available downloads are listed in your Autodesk Account after subscribing. See also previous releases available for subscribers.

Yesterday I was working with Vehicle Tracking and left a path in the file when I saved, closed C3D and went home for the day. Today the grip editing isn't working. It just moves the entire path like it is a block. I downloaded and installed the grip editing hotfix four days ago. Is there a way to get the grip edits to work other than just erasing the path and redrawing it? That is not a big once, but a bit of a nuisance if it happens all the time.
This is a late reply, but I just ran into what I think is the same issue recently. Using AutoCAD 2018, I noticed that all of my grips were gone and I could not edit the path of the vehicle UNTIL I reactivated the Vehicle Tracking module. Simply opening the Vehicle Tracking Explorer and then closing it without doing anything else was enough to reactivate the grips on my existing path.
I agree, we should have been notified of this unusual behavior. I can't think of anywhere else something like this happens. Can you simply make the license acquisition happen when we click on a vehicle path and Vehicle Tracking is installed on the computer?
BTW, my C3D license is a stand alone license, as is my VT license. Saturday I will move from IDSP license with VT to AECC, but it again is stand alone. Will this still happen when I install the new version next summer when SP 1 comes out for AECC 2019? I typically wait for SP 1 before installing any new versions.
Per the supplied screencast, I have created a custom report in a drawing (changes the visual style / colours of the default Vehicle Tracking) and have gone through the steps to make it the default report style (im assuming this is the correct process, documentation and help on vehicle tracking is quite limited). I then switch to another drawing and would like to enable this created custom report, yet there is no option to select it.
Its a shame that the report changes arent "live / shared" between existing drawings (perhaps that can be a suggested feature in an update?) but atleast the reports can still be used. Creating a new drawing while xref'ing the previous drawing is a good idea!
I would like to add a wish to this question for Autodesk to develop/implement in Vehicle tracking. It would be great to make it possible to export and import reports and/or copy a report from one vehicle to another in the same drawing. Say youve made 3 paths with different report styles. It would be nice if there was an option at Report Wizard "Copy report" and then just click on the desired vehicle and the report settings will apply! It would make this program so much easier for the users since you now need to make new reports for every single vehicle if you havent set your custom report from the beginning.
And is there any option to create an "export" of the report to copy it into other computer? I'd like to prepare one common report for my colleages and I'd like to share it with them, so I am looking for the simply solution.
There are many benefits to using GPS tracking, including helping increase safety, improve customer service, streamlining vehicle maintenance and reducing downtime and strengthening fleet compliance. The Geotab GO device is an industry leading, expandable telematics device. With its ability to use GPS fleet tracking, vehicle locations can be viewed in near real time along with a complete trips history. Our patented algorithms provide detailed and accurate information to help support your fleet.
Geotab offers four software packages. Base, Pro and ProPlus packages offer increasing levels of functionality and are available worldwide. The Regulatory package is geared towards the U.S. and Canada and adds HOS and IFTA functionality on top of the Base plan. For a full description of each plan, visit our Software Packages page.
Telematics devices are designed to retrieve data generated by the vehicle, like GPS position, speed, engine light information, engine faults and fuel usage. MyGeotab retrieves additional data for electric vehicles on real-time charge levels, charging locations and durations, and battery state of health, enabling fleet managers to effectively manage their EVs and compare their performance directly against the conventionally fueled vehicles in the fleet.. The telematics device sends the data up to the cloud, and it is then available for viewing and analysis in a fleet management platform.

I'm working in 2018 C3D xrefing in files from an architect and getting the message to update vehicle tracking to 19.0j. I have installed the 2019 vehicle tracking object enabler to no avail. Do you know of a fix for this? The warning pops up a blue million times when opening or printing. It's an aggravation I don't need.
