Tim was 18 when he first started chasing his dream of what Arcon Builders has become. Today, that dream is a reality. Tim manages client accounts and works with commercial/residential customers to help their construction dreams become realities. Over the years, he has poured heart and soul into this business and the people that make it up, as well as staying active in the community through extensive volunteer efforts.

Alec began his career with Arcon Builders in 2006 while still in school. Alec studied Project Management courses at Sinclair Community College during high school and after graduating, he began his career as a Project Manager at Arcon Builders. Now, as lead estimator, Alec develops pre-construction estimates and manages value engineering efforts through all phases of the construction process.

Marcus was added to the Arcon project team in the summer of 2019 after graduating from The Ohio State University with a degree in Marketing. With years of previous experience in the construction industry. Marcus serves as a Commercial Project Superintendent, where he oversees the jobsite from start to finish managing the day to day coordination of activities in the field. Marcus enjoys heading to the lake to fish with his friends.

Nathan joined Arcon in March of 2021 as a Commercial Estimator/ Project Manager bringing with him 30 years of construction experience, 12 of those spent as a Project Manager. In his role Nathan is responsible for bidding and acquiring jobs and, once attained, he is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

Jeff joined the team in January 2022 as a residential designer. Jeff works alongside clients to help them visualize their new construction and remodeling needs. After graduating from Miami University with a degree in The Art of Architecture, he has spent his years both in and out of the office for various construction projects.

Joyce joined the Arcon Builders team in 2017 and works alongside Dale on residential projects. Joyce works with supply vendors to ensure Arcon always has the latest products and is responsible for helping clients with their interior and exterior finish selections. Joyce came to Arcon with 20 years of previous experience in the construction industry, specifically with kitchen and bath new construction and remodel projects.

Del joined Arcon Builders in February 2018 bringing with him over 25 years of experience in various aspects of commercial and residential construction. His primary role at Arcon is overseeing residential operations to ensure that the daily activities, scheduling, and coordination of projects are running efficiently. After many years of marriage, he and his wife now enjoy the blessing of time with not only their three children but also grandchildren.

In June of 2012, APCO/ArCon Acquired CDPA Architects, an Architectural/Engineering firm with rich design portfolio since 1961 (firm previously partly owned by an APCO/ArCon founding member). CDPA Architects is now known as CDPA Architects + Planners.

APCO/ArCon was selected in 2008 by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as a prime contractor to participate in the implementation of the Infrastructure Needs Program (INP I) in the West Bank/Gaza. Since then, APCO/Arcon delivered IDIQ - FFP four school task orders, over twenty road projects, 7 reservoirs and two water distribution task orders valued at $100,000,000.00.

In December 2011, APCO/ArCon was selected again by USAID as a Prime Contractor for the 750 Million USD shared ceiling (INP II) program for the West Bank/Gaza for the five years. During INPII, APCO/ArCon delivered IDIQ - FFP task orders including four water task orders, over twenty road projects, valued at $120,000,000.00.

In September 2017, APCO/ArCon was selected again by USAID as one of the IDIQ holders, specifically, the small business reserve for multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with an overall ceiling price of $500,000,000 for the Building Foundations Program for the West Bank/ Gaza for the next five years. The Government will issue Task Orders that are Firm Fixed Unit Price (FFUP) for the construction services required under this contract.

Stuttgart's tallest hotel and office building combines aesthetics and nature conservation The Porsche Design Tower is Stuttgart's tallest hotel and office building. Architecturally docked to it, the state capital's second Porsche Center sits on a 1,500-square-meter showcase area. Porsche Deutschland, the Porsche Design lifestyle brand and Blow AG have placed particular emphasis on sustainable architecture in their first joint construction project. The careful selection of building materials, in particular the use of multifunctional laminated safety glass for the facade design, underlines the harmonious yet striking appearance of the buildings and combines aesthetics and nature conservation in an innovative way.

Anyone who wants to experience the Porsche brand world up close can visit the new Porsche Center at Pragsattel in Stuttgart since fall 2022. A brand experience space has been created on around 1,500 square meters of exhibition space in line with the unique "Destination Porsche" retail concept. In addition to the display of current models along the "Racing Line," this includes the sale of Porsche lifestyle and Porsche design products. The Porsche Center should not be overlooked, as it is architecturally directly linked to the newly built and striking Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart - at 90 meters high, Stuttgart's tallest hotel and office building. For its facade planning, the panes supplied by arcon had to meet both design and functional requirements.

"The challenge with the Porsche Design Tower was the use of multifunctional impact panels made of laminated safety glass. They had to be both highly effective against bird strike and provide effective solar control," explains Simon Potts, arcon's sales manager, and continues, "The combination of ORNILUX design lines bird protection glass with sunlite grey solar control glass, with its low neutral grey reflection, convinced the client of the Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart, Blow AG. It also reduces the total energy input into the building, while at the same time providing the highest level of daylight input." The construction of the tower marks a milestone for the arcon company, because "the project is one of the largest in which ORNILUX has been installed to date. Specifically, we are talking about over 8,000 square meters." Of this, he said, around 7,000 square meters is monolithic laminated safety glass (LSG) and another 1,000 square meters or so is LSG that is curved at the corners. "That adds up to 1,700 individual glass elements," Potts sums up.

The idea for the ORNILUX bird protection glass was born just a few kilometers from the Porsche Design Tower Stuttgart in the Rems Valley. "Hans Joachim Arnold, the son of the company's founder Alfred Arnold, had the idea 25 years ago to design a bird protection glass," Potts recounts, explaining the structure of the glass: "ORNILUX comes in many different variants. What they all have in common is that we have incorporated structures in the glass that we humans can sometimes recognize better, sometimes with greater difficulty. Birds, on the other hand, often perceive them as obstacles and therefore turn away."
