TheUpgrade price from Collection 3 was 99 Eur for me which was totally worth it.

The Microkorg ist a really nice synth with lots of good and well known Patches . Even more interesting for me was the KAOSS Pad VST which ist great for adding some crazy Filter, phaser etc stuff on the fly. I will use it with the xy Pad in my Code 61 Controller.

I recently purchased the latest version and installed the latest version of all included plugins and some of the plugins fail the AU validation in Logic Pro. I've also tried re-scanning and it didn't work.

Admittedly, I should be more careful about deleting the VST2 files, but it never caused me trouble before, and I would never thought that deleting VSTx files could affect the AU versions, since in my mind they were separate code.

Yes, this is why I said to check this. Korg's AU's are just wrappers that call the regular VST version, so if you delete those, they don't work. The easy way to check this is the case is to look at the size of the AU version, compared to the VST versions. You'll see the AU is a fraction of the size - a big giveaway.

I have installed the latest versions of the KORG Collection plugins on my late 2015 MacBook Pro running MacOS 10.15 Catalina. Only the PolySix shows up in my list of plugins in Cubase 10.5 and 11. The instruments do appear in Presonus Studio One v4.5 (as both AU and VST2 plugins) and run without any problems. So the problem is not with the plugins themselves.

Thanks so much for your help. The plugins were on the blacklist in the plugin manager for some reason. I rescanned the list of plugins and the KORG instruments now no longer appear in the blocked list and are showing up in the VST Instruments Rack.

I know I can hold down SHIFT during loading and open my project... and then futz around and replace the synth.but my question is, have any of you encountered this issue, or similar, with the Korg plugins?

Next step may be to dig out the older installers - or, bite the bullet and fire up the old computer and see what patches I'm using so that i can rebuild using the version 4 VSTs.

Not ready for primetime. Had to buy another librarian as the Korg MS2000 is fairly useless until this programmer fixes all the issues. Does not work in all DAW as advertised. Need to make a aax compatible plugin forget trying to use it in Pro Tools.

Very useful utility with a great UI ! In the next update, if possible, I would like (1) to be able to run MS2KxR in standalone mode without a VST host, and (2) to be able to save from MS2KxR to hard disk (in .syx format) individual patches, columns or rows of patches, or entire patchbanks.

We are not in a rush of putting out new shiny products. Instead, we want to focus on quality.

If you comply with the license, then you can use tools like MediaInfo and FFmpeg or DAWs like Audacity to read the file properties to figure out the PCM format. If it's one of the standard PCM formats, then you can use FFmpeg, SoX, Audacity or any other tools to convert the PCM data into something that can be imported into your sampler VST.
