Startingwith the first build of QPR2 (2024030600), on Pixel 7Pro, we started seeing a foreground service stop working. The foreground service in question maintains an SSE connection to an instance of Nextcloud, and waits for "push" notifications. Prior to QPR2, the process worked perfectly, it would sit there indefinitely waiting for messages, and execute the appropriate responses to incoming messages (notifications mainly). After QPR2, it would only work for the first few seconds after the service was started, and repeatedly throw ANR's up on the screen.

Documentation ( -apps-freezer) indicates that it applies to cached application, and that a foreground service is not cached, so it shouldn't be hitting this service at all. Even worse though, is that once the application has been "frozen", there is nothing at all that can be done to wake it back up, including running startForegroundService on it.

I purchased a 31.7QT JP30 12V APP Controlled Refrigerator Portable Fridge Freezer from ICECO and I am SO happy with it! The refrigerator works GREAT for camping and food stays so fresh, that I don't even worry about it. The JP 30 sips power from my 1000 watt portable generator and is recharged from the car's cigarette lighter outlet. Even set on a VERY cold 34 degrees, I could probably go for days before recharging. The ICECO JP 30 is THAT good. In fact I love it so much, I bought a larger ICECO for longer trips. And ICECO actually answers the phone, tries to solve problems and gladly stands behind their products with no hassle. I lost some hardware and they were there for me. Now my friends and family are ICECO owners too! You can't go wrong with this company.

I bought this fridge to be used in my car for road trips. I was going to get a smaller one, but this one went on sale so I went with it instead. So glad I did. Fits in the backseat of my Elantra perfectly. I bought some foam wedges to put in the seats so it would sit level and used straps on each handle and the baby seat tethers to hold it in place.

The JP30 is a great size for road trips. I just wish there was a dual zone option. Even better if it came with ice trays. I would also use the freezer side to keep ice bricks which would come in handy for smaller insulated bags. The 20L dual zone product is just too small.

Hello,

I'm trying to find a way to keep track of whats in our chest freezer more effectively. Also to help more with meal planning to use food more efficiently and having less waste.

Does anyone know of an App where you can keep an inventory and also plan meals?? TIA ?

Kitchenpal might help.

I also have supercook but i use that for recipes suggestions as the inventory option is basic and you can only highlight what you have in generic terms rather than specific quantities.

So if you highlight that you have eggs, bread, bacon in your pantry it will give you recipes that only need those 3 ingredients.

It's helpful if your pantry is empty before shop day and you are struggling to get something together.

I've just installed both of those as they sound like they could be of use.

I have been trying to use a paper list to update and cross things off but it's just a bit of a pain to remember to do it.

I've got an A3 magnetic white board on the side of the freezer with a list of staples written with a Sharpie pen and numbers written with a whiteboard marker. Only have two drawers, so have a list for top and bottom. It's worked better than list apps because it's always on the freezer. As is a boardmarker.

I have a list in Notes on my IPad and amend it whenever I take anything out or re-stock.

Inevitably there are glitches, but I do a proper stock take every time I defrost my freezer.

Works for me. I find looking at the list and assessing what's in the fridge usually generates meal ideas.

It's somewhat confusing when you can't find your favorite app icons on the home screen. It's even easy if you can remember the name of the missing app. But sometimes, you just notice a gap between your app grids, leaving you with an uncertainty of the missing app. If app icons keep disappearing on your Android device or iPhone, a variety of reasons can cause it. But on the flip side, they're what you can fix in no time. This article shows you how to restore missing apps on your phone.

Not only that, you may have accidentally disabled the app, or hide it from the launcher. Some phones like TECNO, Infinix, and itel also have a robust feature called 'Freezer', which allows you to freeze apps at your wish. The frozen app won't run, send notifications, or even show on your home screen until you unfreeze it. What's more, your launcher might be playing hide and seek with you.

And for iPhone users, you're likely going to encounter apps missing after upgrading to iOS 14. It's not a bug. It's because of the new App Library, which serves as an app drawer for iPhone users. Other reasons include removing the apps from your home screen manually or uninstalling it.

Your inability to find the missing app icon in your app drawer gives you the clue that it's either hidden, disabled, or uninstalled. I guessed the app is not deleted, it might be among the hidden apps on your launcher since most launchers let you hide apps from showing on your device. So, if you've been hiding apps before, kindly check the hidden folder for the missing app.

As said earlier, you might have disabled or froze the missing app unknowingly, which is the reason why it's not showing on your home screen. Disabling/Freezing an app is not equal to uninstalling it, however, meaning you can always re-enable it when needed.

If the app is still installed but not showing on your launcher, your launcher might be acting up. Resetting it can often fix such issues. However, you'll lose your desktop layout and other preferences, but you can always start afresh.

With the introduction of App Library on iOS 14, iPhone users can now hide a whole page or pages on their home screen. These help you de-clutter your home screen by showing all the apps in the App Library. So, if you've hidden a page on the home screen before, the missing app you're looking for might be there.

One more thing about hiding home screen pages on iOS 14 is that newly installed apps won't show on your screen. They'll be moved to a separate folder called "Downloads" inside the App Library. If that's the case, all you need to restore the missing apps is to un-hide the hidden page.

Restoring hidden pages on your home screen doesn't mean you'll get back your missing apps. If you've mistakenly removed the apps from your home screen before hiding the page, restoring it won't make any difference or bring back the app you're looking for.

If the missing app is not showing in your App Library, which means it's no longer on your device. Perhaps, you have uninstalled it unconsciously. In that case, all you need is to search for the app on the App Store and reinstall it. Doing that will bring back the app icon to your home screen and the App Library. Meanwhile, you need to ensure you've not hidden any page on the home screen, or the app will show in the App Library alone.

Whatever the issue is that you cannot handle, book a Carlcare service reservation, and we got you covered. Carlcare is the official after-sales service center for all Infinix, Tecno, Itel, Oraimo and Syinix brands.
