Lets be real: not a single one of us is life simming without some form of Sims 4 cheats up our sleeves. Whether you're working on your next cottage build, or setting up for one of the popular Sims 4 challenges, or just moving that new family into the mansion they can't afford, cheats are here to solve your problems.

We've got a huge cheat sheet for you full of all the live mode shortcuts you need, build mode unlockables, and that one cheat for unlocking career entitlements that I guarantee none of us have memorized.

Every one of Sims 4's expansions and packs also has its own set of cheats. Usually, those cheats are tied to the jobs, deaths, and traits that are unique to that expansion or pack. We've organized the page to make it easy to find tables for all the skills, careers, and traits you might need to max out your Sim's level in. With a handy Ctrl+F, you can search the page for the name of the expansion or pack you're wanting to find cheats for.

For certain cheats, including thost marked as "shift click," you'll first need to use the "testingCheats true" cheat. With testing cheats on, you can unlock some new Shift-Click menu options on Sims, objects, or the ground.

With testingCheats active, you'll be able to move Sims between families, fill up their needs and happiness bars, dirty or clean up objects, and teleport Sims anywhere you like, among a few others detailed below.

Spending all your money on groceries and bills is too much like real life. Why make your Sims start at the bottom when it's way more fun to start at the top? Enter any of these Sims 4 money cheat keywords into the cheat console to instantly gain stacks of cash.

Several different Sims 4 expansions have added different types of occult Sims. So long as you have the corresponding DLC, here's how to turn your Sims into your favorite kind of weirdo using the traits.equip_trait cheat:

One of the first things you might be compelled to do with Eco Lifestyle cheats is change your neighborhood's Eco Footprint. If you just can't stand starting out with an industrial neighborhood, use eco_footprint.set_eco_footprint_state with one of these numbers:

Get your teen Sims through (or kicked out of) school with these cheats for graduating and getting expelled. These are all handled through the trait system, so you'll use the cheat traits.equip_trait [trait] to help them graduate, get expelled, or drop out:

Like other traits, you can use traits.remove_trait to get rid of each as well. You can find more Highschool Years cheats for careers, skills, and personality traits in the tables below.

If you're finding that your Sims' difficulty in meeting new people is a little too relatable, the cheat console code relationship.introduce_sim_to_all_others will instantly introduce your Sim to all their neighbors.

traits.equip_trait Ghost_OldAge [Pet ID] will turn your pet into a ghost if you are either an absolute monster or (spoiler alert) attempting an elaborate Sim version of John Wick. To get your pet's ID (you monster), use sims.get_sim_id_by_name [PetFirstName] [PetLastName]

Use stats.set_skill_level [skill code] [#] to set your Sim's skill to any level you want. Substitute in the skill code and the skill level you want, which should look something like: "stats.set_skill_level Major_Writing 10"

And for all you horse enthusiasts, before you can modify your ride's skills, you'll need to find their HorseID with sims.get_sim_id_by_name [HorseFirstName] [HorseLastName]. Once you have your HorseID, make sure you append it at the end of each skill command, so it should look like this: stats.set_skill_level Horse_Temperament 10 [HorseID#].

careers.promote [career] and careers.remove [career] work in the same way to get a promotion or remove your Sim's job. You can also use careers.retire [career] to quit your job and collect a weekly pension.

You can pick certain traits for your Sims during the Create-A-Sim process that control some of their preferences, habits, and how they react to other Sims. The quickest way to add and remove standard traits is to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat and then the Shift+Click cheat for "Modify in CAS" to change your Sim's traits.

However, there's a long list of other traits that you can only get in other ways such as buying them with Aspiration Points or when a Sim grows into a new age group. Here are all the handy codes for the traits you won't find tucked away in the Create-A-Sim menu.

So i downloaded sim city 2000 special edition from origin, but im not able to use any of the cheat codes i used to. I cant even open debug mode. Any tips? Is it possible that I can't use cheats because my laptop is windows 8?

I have the exact same issue. Got the free SimCity 2000 from Origin and I've tried everything I could find. Clickholding toolbar doesn't work, debug doesn't open, in game typing like many sites say works most definitly does not work.

Using these The Sims 2 cheats will unlock unlimited simoleons, change the appearance of the game, and do all sorts of extra things to help you and your sims out. It's an old game and if you've run out of all the things you can do naturally in the game, why not go crazy with a few Sims 2 codes and cheats to spice things up a little.

At any time in the game press select button and go to the perk screen and go to buy perks. you will see a selection of perks that you can buy. hold down the L, R and Square buttons for 3 seconds. A new perk will appear with a picture of a purple heart called cheat.

If you do that the child services will take away your child! After missing a few busses, plus when your child will grow up, not having good grades, gives you bad points. I donno any cheats but I wouldn't recomend it.

Lizziloo is correct. If you don't have the sims go to school, then they will get bad grades, and there might be the impending social worker visit. I'd say the best way to go about it, is to just have the child go to school every day. I don't know of a cheat to stop school from being a must.

As for school related work, such as homework? You can delete that daily when you child comes home. If you buy an end table, a desk, or have a newspaper, put the homework in top of those times. Then open the cheat window using ctrl + shift + C and type in the cheat: moveobjects on. (No period, though.)

This will enable you to pick up that endtable, desk or newspaper, and just hit the delete key while the homework is on it. You can't delete the homework itself. Do that, and you'll get rid of the homework, so you don't have to worry about making your child sim do it, and their grades won't drop.

My teen sim have a full time job and doesn't go to school. use cheat to change teen or child into adult. Give them an adult job, then change back into teen. You grades will drop to a f. Another is to used boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true

Shift+click on the newspaper and select the top level for a teen job.

I don't know wether this is just an accident but I typed in the cheat Boolprop testingcheatsenabled true then went in a lot pressed shift and left clicked my teen sim.Then I spawned a scenario tester, then clicked on the box that appears and pressed add me to private school and then my skills and career tab tured to blank where the type of school is and the working hours to 0:00 to 0:00 and none of the days are highlited.:]

Sadly, I had a sim called Sarah, she had 3 children. 1 child, 2 babies. (new born) after 3 days her sim noticed her grades falling. (i Never knew how to do homework I never even knew they had homework)

My sim was in a bad mood and never did her homework. She failed school, and the social worker took away ALL her kids. Bad idea, dont skip school kids, its a lesson xD

Press ctrl,shift and the letter C all at the same time and type in boolprop testingcheatsenabled.

Press shift and at the same time right click your teenage/child sim then it comes up with a sort of spider diagram with some options, click the option "spawn..." then find "scenario check..." and click it, a yellow box will appear, click " add me to private school!" And then hey-presto! No more worrying about school!

There is kinda. Press shift c and ctrl. A box opens up, type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true with the spaces, and when the school bus comes hold shift and left click on the bus. Then "Force Error" will appear, then click on it, and the school bius will have deleted. But the teen and child friends will still go to school, but not your family. If you do the cheat above, and hold shift and left click you will find out many other cheats. Try it on anything you want to delete or try it on your sims to make you have magic items ect. You can even (if you click on your sims when you've entered the cheat) make Grim Repear in your family!

If you use boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true in the cheat box and then Shift Left Click on the person you are controlling go to a button called "Spawn" and click on scenario tester, a yellow box should appear,then using your child, click add me to private school and they will never have to go again!

If you want to send your child to school, they go on the bus every day (except Saturday and Sunday), but if you don't want to send them to school do NOT get them to miss the bus everyday because the social worker will come and take away your children. What you do if you open the cheat box by pressing "cntrl" "shift" and "c" simmultaniasly, Then you type in EXACTLY boolprop testingcheatsenabled true ....... If you do not type that it it will not work ! Then you simply shift click on your sim, you go into "spawn" and then a ton of other choices will come up. You click "scenario tester" then click "add me to private school" .. Once you do that, you wont have to go to school, you wont have to do homework, and the social services wont come and take you away
