Problem saving backups on KitKat?

Since upgrading my Galaxy Note 10.1 to KitKat, I've noticed that quill now gives me an error message about saving files when I exit the app. Doesn't look like much has been happening here recently, so I guess a fix might not be forthcoming.....

I think the project is dead. My suggestion is to move on to something else that would suit your needs. There are a group of us taking notes at work on Note 10.1's and Lecture Notes and Papyrus seem to be the two favorites. I might move to OneNote eventually just for the cross-platform support with my Windows machines.
