You can have xpadder auto launch profiles when you launch different programs. If you click the wrench button top right, then select autoprofile you can set it up there. I have a big box profile that auto loads when bigbox boots, and have mapped f1 and f3 to it soo I can save and load games by holding back and using the shoulder buttons.
Sorry my misunderstanding, I don't think that is possible with xpadder. If there was keyboard shortcuts for loading profiles it could be possible, but I don't think there are. That's why I use auto profiles, so when certain programs or emulators launch it auto switches.
my english is poor
excuse me
i know this question is for 2016 year
but i answer it because it is may one person has this problem
when you are choosing for buttons a word from virtual keyboard of xpadder
on this virtual keyboard is a button "advanced"
click on it
you see there is a option "set selector"
you can enable it and make it until with a button switch set 2 or set 1 or set 3
I downloaded the recommended program xpadder last night, and have found it to be very easy to use and an insanely intuitive program. The problem is I dont know how to launch it with an emulator. Here is my "Also launch" command, D:\My Games\Xpadder\xpad2.xpadderprofile , but it doesnt seem to launch with the emulator. I have also placed this in the "launch before" box with no results. D:\My Games\Xpadder\Xpadder.exe "D:\My Games\Xpadder\xpad0.xpadderprofile" /M I have been working with this exact line, and variations thereof; with and without .xpadderprofile, /M, and quotes. is it even possible to launch different schemes for each game?
Ive downloaded pskill after deciding tskill was useless, and it works like a charm. I can now get gameex to kill xpadder after every time i exit. Thanks for the info. But I still dont know how to load a specific xpad profile. I have been trying for hours... and I can only get it to launch the default scheme. Im going for a beer. Ill check back in a bit. By the way thanks for the quick responses... I have been modding systems and messing with emulators for about 5 months now and its a constant learning proccess and that what I love about it.
Fwiw I can confirm that xpadder now supports actions on "button up", at least in the current version (from May 2017 I believe). It's a bit tricky to find, somewhere under the "advanced" section of a button assignment, but it's working well. I used this to simulate a keyboard key press for each neutral position of the warthogs throttle switches, so I can easily map them in DCS without ever installing TARGET.
I recently installed Need For Speed World only to find it doesn't work with a gamepad (Xbox 360). I setup Xpadder to map the keys to the Xbox 360 controller and now it works great, but the problem is if Xpadder is running in the background, it messes up the controller configs for most of my other games. Is there a way for Gamebrowser III to launch an xpadder profile I made for this game and to close Xpadder when I close the game? Been looking online at the forums for NFS World, Xpadder and here and not having any luck yet. I'm hoping someone knows how to do this, or can point me in the right direction.
Ok so I finally setup my xpadder again, yeah you can use 2 controllers with xpadder. Basically when you open a game and have the autoprofile setup, it assigns the 1st controller to that profile. So to have 2 controllers, you need 2 entries in the auto profile (1 for each controller).
hello can anybody help with the Xbox 360 controller mapping using xpadder profiles I've loaded a profile for Arma 3 I got from online, I've setup the xpadder profile but when I run the game it doesn't work it just uses the default controls.
So I was determined to try to play Sacred 2 with console style controls on the PC because of all the problems I had with the console version. Xpadder allows you to map your gamepad buttons to mouse functions and keyboard keypresses. I've set mine up so I can do everything from starting the game to exiting it with the gamepad. I am going to try to put a video I made here showing off how this goes. The two important things to remember are that xpadder, or any other keymapping program you use, has to be run in administrator mode, and that you should use the free camera mod in combination with this to provide a better feel to the camera.
