Dear Friends Of Quiet Rockland and All Interested Parties:
The following is Quiet Rockland’s update on our continued fight to shut-down: (A) FAA’s harmful NY/NJ/PHL Airspace Redesign and (B) the malicious reign of metal and fatalities that is FAA’s current modus operandi:
1. SCHUMER OPPOSES REDESIGN. At Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Pearl River, NY, Quiet Rockland’s Tom Sullivan elicited U.S. Senator Charles Schumer’s strong confirmation that the Senator in his words “will” stop FAA’s NY/NJ/PHL Airspace Redesign. Quiet Rockland thanks and applauds Senator Schumer and his staff for rallying to the support of 300,000 New York constituent voting residents in Rockland County, NY, and for the Senator's continued firm stand against FAA lawless misconduct:

2. ROCKLANDERS CALL FOR MASS FAA FIRINGS. Quiet’s Rockland’s John J. Tormey III, Esq. has issued a fervent further appeal to USDOT Secretary Ray LaHood and President Barack Obama calling for the outright firing of those FAA personnel comprising the hazardous remaining vestiges of the failed Bobby Sturgell FAA – including FAA FOIA operative Doug Murphy, FAA Redesign Project Manager Steve Kelley, FAA COO Hank Krakowski, temporary place-holder FAA administrator Lynne Osmus, and all FAA disinformation-publicists and FAA “Freedom of Information” Act personnel:

3. GOVERNMENT SUPPORTS QUIET ROCKLAND. Quiet Rockland is thankful to continue to receive emphatic support from virtually every other branch of government in its continued quest to shut down FAA’s Airspace Redesign, including:
Ed Day, The Rockland County Legislature’s Minority Leader:

Quiet Rockland again thanks each and every supportive branch of local, state, and federal government and all public officials and others who have helped us over the past 2 years, for their accessibility, receptivity, professional courtesy, leadership - and for their refusal to ever concede or surrender to FAA’s rogue lawlessness, inability to tell the truth, and Tombstone Agency-contempt for humanity.
4. Quiet Rockland again extends our thoughts, sympathies, condolences, and prayers to the friends and families of the 50 air-crash victims who perished in Clarence Center, New York; the 17 air-crash victims who just perished near Butte, Montana; and all other of the many recent and past victims of FAA management’s malfeasance and incompetence. FAA’s negligence and recklessness kills approximately 500 people per year. That MUST AND WILL STOP, NOW. We again call upon President Obama and USDOT Secretary LaHood to immediately effect the Oberstar-recommended Top-To-Bottom Clean-Out of FAA management, starting with the removal of the rag-tag bunch of inept FAA “officials” listed at:

Rockland County, and these United States, deserve better. So, too, do the memories of the aviation victims.

We look forward to further carrying out the good work of our first and foremost ally, former Rockland County Legislator Patrick Withers, current owner of “Ireland’s 32” in Suffern, New York. Pat Withers is the Paul Revere of Rockland County and our first hero. Without Pat’s vigilance we may never have had adequate lead-time to mount our counter-offensive against FAA threats. Now, thanks to Pat Withers, we WILL win this.
Quiet Rockland, New York, and this country, will accept nothing other than a safe federal aviation system.
