Dear Honorable Senators:
For the many reasons carefully and exhaustively previously briefed to you and your respective staffs by fax and e-mail directly, as also posted in the 373 entries at Quiet Rockland’s website http://www.IndictSturgell.com, Quiet Rockland now respectfully requests that each of you, Honorable United States Senators all, declare and effect a “HOLD” on the confirmation [vel non] of Mr. J. Randolph (“Randy”) Babbitt As FAA Administrator – until such time as Randy Babbitt commits in an appropriate and acceptable signed writing that he will TERMINATE the FAA’s unlawful and hazardous “NY/NJ/PHL Airspace Redesign” (“Redesign”). The termination of the Redesign needs to include without limitation: (1) the immediate cessation of all Redesign activities by FAA, USDOT, and any and all other parties; (2) FAA’s immediate withdrawal of all opposition to and concession to all relief sought by all Petitioners in the consolidated Airspace Redesign litigation pending before the D.C. Circuit; (3) the immediate removal of all NY/NJ/PHL Airspace Redesign material from the http://www.faa.gov Internet website and any other FAA websites and other facilities; and (4) the immediate firing of failed ATC and “Commodore” Steven Ray (“Steve”) Kelley as FAA Airspace Redesign Project Manager.
