Keep trying to program the blu-ray player and it keeps putting the Sony TV on the av1 setting. I need a code for the blu-ray so it goes in and not the Sony TV KDL46EX621. I have had more problems setting the your remotes than the Dish remotes. What is the deal? I have had Directv less than a month and not very happy so far!
I just got a Sony OLED, and while the Sony Remote can control my old Panasonic DVD Player and my old TiVo, I cannot get it to control my new Roku Ultra.
How can I set this up? I would prefer not having to use 2 remotes.
No Roku model can be controlled via cec by oem remote like your tv remote. If the tv remote has codes and other devices for streamers like Ultra then it could control ultra it by IR. But never by hdmi-cec like dvd players and tivo's. Sorry.

I'm programming a small software for the remote use of a Sony camera (I use QX1 but the model should be irrelevant) in VB.net. In return I get the address to download the livestream, like :8080/liveview/liveviewstream (wrapped in a JSON-answer).
According to the Sony CameraRemote-API-reference this is a stream which contains some header-data and the single jpeg-data. But it seems not to be a MJPEG-stream. I could past the livestream-link to my browser and it starts to infinitely download the livestream. I could not show the stream with a MJPEG-stream player like VLC.
