starting : can't manage to create an archive !

when I use the NEW command in the menu, it opens a OUVRIR window -
juste the same as if I press the OPEN item in the menu ; but I can't
find any file to open (files seem to have to be archive files)

help says that the NEW command must be used : how ?

"menu operations" help in interface : nothing

help in line : leads to "page introuvable"

so what ?

You seems downloaded Quick Zip 4.60 (as you mentioned Help\Help crash
on your system), if so, please uninstall it and install Quick ZIp Lite
3, and then please follow these tutorials to create your first
archive :

Hello, thanks for your answer, but if I can't manage Quick Zip 4.60 I
am a bit wary of downloading another that seems to have been released
about a week ago ? Besides, it is not clear from your site how to
download it : Overfiles ? Freeware files ??

You are suggested to download Quick Zip Lite 3 instead of Quick Zip
4.60, as it's more updated.
