Hi Quick Server Group,

Has any one used QS as a socket server to receive data sent by GPS.

We have tried to set it up, but couldn't.

Does any one has a configuration of QS to manage GPS strings and save them on a DB

For this purpose we need to manage the following requirements:

- over 5.000 connections at the same time (keep them
- over 20 to 60 string per second  received
- string length from 60 to 120 bytes (plain text)
- all data must be written into a PGSQL database
(or mysql)
-
the storage data must include the string, remote IP, connection socket, TCP port.
- the server also must be able to send data to a connected client. The data must be read from a table at the DB with a confirmation of send (a column will be set from 0 to 1 when the server has send the string)
- connections monitoring so we sill be able to know if there is any errors
- statistics of usage and
- an specific requirements

Please tell us if you can set us up a QS with this requirements.

We are willing to offer a Donation for anyone how help us.

Thank you very much.
