Hi there,
If I can comment on one related issue. I have some issue with ImageJ's memory.
I used a 64-bit win7 system with 16G RAM for data analysis, which
never is a problem. However, I used the another computer with only 4G
RAM +Win7 to view the data. In this case, after closing a large file,
the RAM is not freed.
I try to click on the status bar, or run a function which supposedly
will release the RAM. The status bar shows that the memory is free,
but it is not indeed, if you view from the system monitor.
The result is after a while, all the RAM is used and I have to restart
ImageJ to actually free those memory. It is also very interesting why
that is not a problem on another computer.
I think the take home message is the more the merrier :)
Cheers,
Ye
