7) ADOPT A MISSION FAMILY
Partners in Mission is a new program at Cornerstone (thank
you Bruce & Katy Dockter for getting this started!) How
does it work you ask? Simple. Three or four families in the
congregation join together in adopting one of our Mission
Families (the Bosworths in Alaska; the Boydstons in Guam;
the Hayworths in Japan; and the Reeds in Spain.) We gather
on a regular basis to pray for and encourage our adopted
family as well as to learn about their new culture and then
share with our congregation about them and their needs.
Contact the Dockter's with any questions and sign up to
Adopt a Mission Family in the church foyer.

In lieu of sending Christmas Cards to your friends and
family at Cornerstone (as well as saving lots of time and
expense on postage) Covenant Women has a great alternative.
Simply sign your name on the Christmas Card in the foyer
and place a check for any amount in the basket next to it.
Your greetings will be delivered in our Christmas Eve
bulletin. Please make checks payable to Cornerstone and
designate them "Christmas Card." This years donations will

camp!

6) GREETINGS FROM THE BOYDSTON’S
Greetings from Guam! Just a few things to quickly share
with you all:
~ Good news! We have an offer on our California house and
it is in escrow with a predicted closing date of December
29th. Please continue to pray for the completion of that
transaction. Pray for wisdom as we look for a new place on
Guam.
~ All three of our children will be joining us for
Christmas. Obviously, we're really looking forward to that.
~ The fall semester is starting to wind down, just a few
more weeks. Some students have a lot to accomplish in a
short amount of time but they'll get it all done.
~ Brad updates our ministry blog on a regular basis:
http://Guam.Boydston.us. Includes pictures!

7) SERVICEMEN UPDATE
Currently we have two (known) active duty Servicemen from
our congregation. Tyler Graham is stationed Stateside &
Trevor Stevens is serving in Iraq. (Kris Palmberg switches
to active duty in February.) It is a blessing to show our
love, support, and appreciation by corresponding with "our
guys" especially at this time of year. Kurt Palmberg will
be shipping Christmas care packages to our guys on Tuesday,
December 12th. Please bring your gifts of: nuts; beef
jerky; candy; gum; cookies; reading materials including
devotionals, pocket Bibles, inspirational books; and
personal correspondence to the drop box at Cornerstone or
contact Kurt directly.
You may also correspond year round with our guys or to our
troops in general.
