5) A VIEW FROM THE CHAIR
(This comes to us from Anthony Salafia)

Wednesday night fellowship starts again tonight. It will
be a great night of dining, visiting with friends, and
Bible studies. No need to cook dinner! I encourage ALL OF
YOU to attend. Those of you who attended this past fall
know what a wonderful time that we all had.

A pastoral search survey questionnaire was handed out at
the end of the January 28, 2007 worship service. The
purpose of this survey was to get feedback from the
congregation regarding their preferences of sermon and
worship styles. The data collected will be used to complete
a Covenant Church Profile. The elected pastoral search team
has been working on this 10 page church profile that is
required for all Covenant Churches in a pastoral search
process. This survey was written by the denomination and is
available to download and view at
http://www.covchurch.org/cov/resources/ordered-ministry/church-profile-form2
or contact a member of the pastoral search team to see the
Church Profile. I would like to thank those of you who took
the time to complete the survey. The survey will be
available this Sunday for those who have not completed one
yet. Please return it to an usher or search team member. We
will need all completed surveys by the end of this Sunday’s
service. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please mark your calendar for the March 11, 2007 Annual
Meeting. This will be a brief, but important meeting
following the church service. It will include voting on the
following church council nominees.

Chuck Johnson: Office of Vice Chair
Lois Wilson: Office of Financial Secretary
Alan McCord: Council Position #1 Stewardship
Katie Dockter: Council Position #2 Missions
Ann McNulty Council Position #5 Congregational Care

Our weekly church bulletin indicates the current church
council members and positions. Continue to pray for the
Lord’s guidance of our council, and for Bob Atkins, Greg &
Amanda Oppenhuizen and Sean & Kerry Curtis who are
traveling to and from Denver this week for the Covenant
Mid-Winter Conference.

In His Service,
Anthony Salafia, Chair
