3) CHILDCARE CHANGES
(This comes to us from Brooke Bernard)
Due to the decreased number of babies in the nursery during
the Connections hour, we only need one volunteer from
8:40-9:40 a.m. Stefani Ferreira (staff) will be present in
order to adhere to our Childcare Policy of having two
caregivers in a room when a child is present. We do still
need two volunteers during the Worship Service (see
schedule listed above.) As always, thank you for your
faithful service and ministry to our little ones!

~ As of last Sunday we were 14% of the way through our
budget year. Our offerings equal 12% of our anticipated
offering income for the year.

following the church service. It will include voting on the

reports will available for review the Sunday prior to the
Annual Meeting, on the foyer literature table.

7) A VIEW FROM THE CHAIR
(This comes to us from Anthony Salafia)
The Pacific South West Conference will be holding the
Annual Celebration 2007 at Simi Covenant Church in Simi
Valley, California (Ventura County) April 19-21. This is an
opportunity to join representatives from other Covenant
churches in our region “to celebrate what God is doing in
our midst and share in preparing for the future.” I
attended last year and it was very inspiring to see how our
denomination is growing and impacting communities. Please
contact me this week if you are member interested in
representing Cornerstone as a delegate.
Our next congregational meeting is coming up on March 11,
2007 and we will be voting on new council positions and new
members. Pastor Sean will be holding a new members class on
March 10 at Walt & Carrie de Bruyn’s home. This class is an
excellent way to learn about our local church history and
our denomination. Many of you have made significant
contributions to our church through your service and
finances, but you are not members of Cornerstone. You need
to have a voice in our decision making as well. Membership
is the next step that you need to take. Please contact
Pastor Sean Curtis for details about the new members class.

8) RECYCLE INKJET CARTRIDGES
Don't forget that Cornerstone is an authorized recycling
center for used inkjet cartridges. We receive up to $4 for
each cartridge deposited in the collection box in the
church foyer.
