~ As of last Sunday we were 20% of the way through our
budget year. Our offerings equal 17% of our anticipated
offering income for the year.

4) A VIEW FROM THE CHAIR
(This comes to us from Anthony Salafia, Church Chair)
The Worship Team is holding an open discussion tonight
(Wednesday) at 7:30 pm at Cornerstone for anyone who has
served on Jubilate in the past, present or if you simply
would like to provide some input. Many of you have served
in this capacity in the past or are waiting for the Lord’s
prompting to share your musical gifts and valued
experience. We have been blessed by the willing servants
who have generously given their time and talents during our
worship service. Let’s support and encourage them!
Our final church survey, that was distributed and sent on
March 4, is due this Sunday March 18. This will conclude
the internal data collected for our church profile. March
is a busy month at Cornerstone with new council members
taking office and the pastoral search committee meeting
with our transition coach Alan Forsman on March 22. Keep
these groups in prayer for the Lord’s guidance and
sustenance during this season.
All the while, we continue being a house of worship. VBS
preparation has begun in earnest. I have a mini church
office at home to prove it (not nearly as neat as Karole
keeps Cornerstone). Prayer and preparation meetings will
begin soon. It is a great outreach for our community and a
wonderful way to connect with others in our congregation.
Please contact Dhyan Gilton or Tance Salafia about being
involved with Vacation Bible School in late June.

I am collecting magazines for the Turlock Adult School for
use with their homework and vocabulary needs. Please place
your magazines in the blue box in the church foyer. Thanks!

~ Jr Hi MGM (Modesto Gospel Mission) -- 6:30 p.m., Friday,
March 16th
~ Cornerstone Workday -- 9 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, March
17th. All are welcome and encourage to help with small
and/or large projects around the church, concluding with a
thank you lunch.
~ Easter is right around the corner (April 8th) and we'd
appreciate your donations of plastic eggs (just the eggs,
no candy) for our annual Easter Egg Hunt for the little
ones. You may place the eggs in the white basket in the
church foyer. Thanks.
