I noticed the other day that quicklisp installs in the users home
directory (typically on the c: drive in windows), but when you try to
update or install packages, it installs to a relative path that does
not include the drive letter (I do my development on the g: drive).
In my case, I'd installed several packages while on the g: drive, they
worked fine, but once I tried to update quicklisp I started to run
into trouble and noticed that the packages had installed to the g:
drive while the main quicklisp package installed to c:

Is there any easy way to make quicklisp install everything into the
home dir while the current dir is on a different drive?

Thanks for the report. That's definitely not intentional behavior. What
CL are you using?

Thanks,

This has been fixed with a new version of the bootstrap file
"setup.lisp". You should be able to get the new file with (ql:update-
client) soon.

Thanks for the report!
