Am I able to connect and test on my own fix feed? I have yet to download and test yet but thought I might ask.

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by testing your own feed but the messenger can act as either acceptor or initiator to existing FIX sessions.

Once the session has established, you can use the messenger to send/receive messages.

Cheers,

I have been trying to add a new session (sorry terminology was wrong, your response to my question was exactly what i was wondering) but I am trying to add a new session in the quickfix config file but upon starting the acceptor or initiator the entire list of fix sessions do not load. Do I create a new session config file?

Maybe you can share your config and log files so that I can help check it for you.

Thanks for all your help!
I think I have it all set actually. I have a new question now though, every time I try and use FIX Free Text it gives me a message invalid popup. I am thinking it might be a delimiter problem but cannot be sure.

Thanks
