How do you compile quickfast? - I don't see any makefiles, visual studio projects, or documentation about this

I fixed that.  Thanks for reporting it.

Briefly, the make files or solution files, etc (depending on your platform) are created by a package called Make Project Creator. (https://www.ociweb.com/products/mpc/)

The short version:
  1. customize the setup file to define environment variables as necessary​
     
  2. ​Run MPC to create the necessary solution/project files or make files or ....
  3. build using the normal toolchain for your platform.

Does MPC support visual studio 2015?

It appears not to.

Do you have .sln files for quickfast? this would be far easier than configuring multiple open source projects to get the build system working
