MacVim: the text isn't pasted back after saving

Hi! What do I have to do in MacVim (latest stable version) to have the text automatically pasted back to the other window? It is currently not working with :w and ctrl-s. Best regards, N.

Hi! Are you also closing the buffer/or window? (with :wq or cmd+s, cmd+q/w).
