There is a lot to cover in this toolpath, from speeds and feeds, cutting strategy, stock settings, boundaries, filtering, post selection, etc etc...so these videos are a bit lengthy. Grab a coffee, or a beer, and get comfy. You're gonna be here a while.
In mastercam I made my inside cuts 1 color, outside another, no offsets another. If I had a set of say holes near and edge I could make them a different color and change my lead in lengths angles etc. pertinent to a specific color, bigger holes could have different lead ins and lengths depending on how I grouped them by color.
I started making nuts in the late 70's. I made them for fun for the most part, sort of like brewing beer in the garage. To be sure, a good micro-brew is hard to beat, but there is something inherently gratifying about brewing your own. Making our own climbing gear seemed to make the whole experience a little more intense.
Maybe true but they want more than 10% for maintenance fees now, so might as well go with mastercam. but point is is mastercam has bugs and deficiencies too, cause mastercam is just another permutation of moduleworks/machineworks.
